Don't let your ambitions fall with the temperature.
For many of us, the trajectory of autumn's falling temperatures correlates negatively to our rising cycling ambitions. The Louis Garneau Ventila SL Jersey is made for those of us who watch the leaves change while hammering on singletrack, transfer from the road to the 'cross courses in fall, or are already thinking about next year's form while doing October hill repeats.
The Ventila uses Airfit fabric, whose jacquard weave technique creates a varied texture that increases the jersey's breathability and moisture wicking to keep you dry after you've warmed up on cool rides. This breathability is further supplemented by panels of Airfit Mesh tucked under the arms. The mesh version of Airfit is light, flexible, and controls moisture with a mesh fist, which is a lot more effective than it sounds.
The Ventila's pro fit recommends it for short, hard cool-weather efforts (cyclocross, we're looking at you), and a UPF rating of 50 protects you against the sun, even when it's hidden behind clouds. It also includes reflective accents at the full-length zipper and on the rear pockets and breast logo to help keep you visible in those low-light conditions. Because the jersey includes a media pocket, you can route your earphone wires the same way you route your bike cables: internally. Three rear pockets provide less flashy but equally useful storage.
The Women's Louis Garneau Ventila SL Jersey is available in six sizes ranging from X-Small to XX-Large in the colors Black/white, Candy Purple, and White/red/black.
