Really a struggle with the opening. Couldn't slide my foot in my shoe, even though the size fit correctly.

My road bike shoe size is 43. When I bought the size Medium of this product it was very hard to get on over my shoe (43 is at the very top of the size range for Medium). Is it worth sizing up to Large to make it easier to get on or is the tighter fit better for aero dynamics or something like that. Thanks, Jeff
