Back cutout not that great
- I've put it through the wringer
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- 5` 9"
- 151 lbs
-I love the concept of this vest but it doesn’t work out as well as I’d hoped. The cutout doesn’t always line up with your jersey pockets so sometimes fetching stuff from your jersey pockets is problematic. Along these same lines is that if you’re wearing full-fingered gloves it’s harder to get things out of the pockets because you can’t feel where the different fabrics start and end. And typically, if it’s cold enough to need this vest it’s most likely cold enough that I need full fingered gloves. In warmer weather I wear a lighter vest. So what happens a lot when I wear this vest is that I end up having to pull the vest up to get to my jersey pockets just like I with other “normal”-style vests so the purpose of the back opening is defeated. I’m also not a fan of the single, elastic band that’s used on the bottom-back of the vest. It’s tight and feels weird. -What I do like about this vest is that it’s really well ventilated. You’ll stay warm in it without overheating. I’ve worn it with arm warmers or a long sleeve jersey down to 45 degrees and felt fine. I haven’t had any issues with the zipper. It zips and unzips easily and it’s never caught on the fabric or come undone. I had to size up. Usually I wear a medium in cycling clothes (except Castelli and some other Italian brands) but had to go large with this. I’m 5’9” and 150 pounds. -My reason for the low rating goes back to the fact that the access port in back doesn’t really work for me and if I’m not going to use it then what’s the point of getting a vest like this. What I’ve ended up using more often is a vest with a small pocket in back to hold nutrition for quick access.

- True to size
This is a very light weight vest for days when a jersey alone is not enough. The front fabric breathes a little so there is no sweat build up as is the case with wind stopping fabric. The back is a thin mesh that breathes very well. The back is open over jersey pockets so they are readily accessible, a great idea.

Very Light Vest
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Very, very light vest. Best for cool summer mornings. Not a ton of wind protection, and and all mesh pocket and open space for your 3 pockets in your jersey.
