Leg Warmers
Add the Louis Garneau Leg Warmers to your favorite bib shorts on those tricky-to-dress-for shoulder season rides and you can comfortably regulate your temperature throughout the day.
The Leg Warmers are made of Garneau's HeatMaxx fabric, a polyester/elastane blend with a brushed fleece back to retain body heat. A silicone gripper at the thigh keeps each leg warmer from sliding down and bunching at the knee. Flatlock seams ensure minimal friction against your skin, and a reflective logo on the calf and piping on the ankle zipper add extra visibility. The Leg Warmers also have a UPF/SPF rating of 50.
- Legwarmers for comfort on shoulder season rides
- Constructed of 4-way stretch HeatMaxx with brushed back for warmth
- Silicone thigh grippers keep the warmers in place
- Flatlock seams reduce irritation, chafing, and friction
- UPF/SPF 50 keeps you protected when the sun pops out
- Reflective accents increase your visibility in low light

Fits right and stays on
Upper thigh is about 23 inches. I purchased a medium size pair. It fits right and it had no problem staying on through 3 days of skiing.

The first time I tried these on the stitching came undone at the ankle band. Size was correct, but the very tight ankle band needs reinforcing. CC made returning these warmers fast and easy. I’ve always had good luck with Garneau, so maybe I just got a defective pair.

Nice warmers

These are great! They fit true to size and stay in place well. They do add significant warmth and are very easy to strip if you get too warm.

These work fine if you have compressing bib shorts over them to hold them in place. Otherwise, if you want to wear them with casual shorts, you will spend your ride trying to keep them in place, causing more annoyance and distraction than anything else. Without a zipper at the ankle they are already extremely tough to get on/off, so sizing down to have them tighter at the top wouldn't work. Would not buy again and would not recommend.

Keeps me warm 40 degrees I haven't tried them at anything lower than that. Wish they had zippers at the bottom for easy removal over shoes but for the price I can't complain.

High Quality

Have always loved the fit and finish of Louis Garneau's gear. These warmers are ideal for fall rides requiring a mid-weight warmer. This is my third pair of these in 15 years, so they're durable and maintain their elasticity. Highly recommend. Great when paired with the arm warmers.

They hug to the contours of one's leg quite well, and are comfortable excluding the tags which can be a bit itchy.

Does this size chart make sense? Who has a 12.5 inch thigh and is "extra large"? I'm thinking that's not a circumference measurement, but the length is the same for every size. Did someone put the arm warmer sizes here? Would love to purchase, but the size chart is messed up.

Warm, good design, no chafing

I've had issues with other lesser brands chafing behind the knees. I like the anatomics of this product.

These leg warmers will stay put.

These leg warmers are great for cool spring or fall mornings but you might need something a little bit warmer if temps drop much below 45-50. But the upside of their weight is that they don't feel overly bulky and are quite comfortable. Similar to many of Louis Garneau's products, there's a bit of compression built into these leg warmers. They are tight and are supposed to be tight. Also, don't be intimidated by their seemingly small size out of the package, there's some serious stretch in them too. These leg warmers will stay put. The one comment I'd add to the description above is that these leg warmers don't have zippers on the lower leg. Zippers enable you to remove the warmers over your shoes without needing to remove them. This is usually awkward anyways so I don't consider this a drawback (as I usually forgo using leg warmer zippers anyway) and the lack of zippers also means there's no chance of them causing discomfort. I'd recommend these leg warmers is you don't mind a bit of compression.
