Description

Max it out.

The Zecto Drive Max Tail Light employs three LEDs to produce between five and 250 lumens, depending on which of the eight settings you're engaging for the ride. Modes ranging from daytime flash, which is a bright, 250 lumen flash for high levels of visibility during daytime cycling, to the conservative economy mode that provides five lumens of light that'll keep you easy to spot for up to 24 hours. The inclusion of Lezyne's Intelligent Power Indicator tells you precisely the light's level of charge during use and while charging, while the micro USB-rechargeable design helps you keep the juice alive on the ride to and from wherever your destination is. Plus, the versatile 2-in-1 clip and strap mounting system frees up your attachment options.

    pretty awesome

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times
    Fit:
    True to size

ok so i live in south florida and the drivers here make cycling an adventure. when i ride on the road i have two headlights and three tail lights, in an attempt to be seen, not ignored. at one point i got so tired of getting strafed that i bolted a metal CB antenna horizontally to the back of my bike. woman in an audi still passed me close, earning a big scratch in the side of the car. amazing. i realized that the metal antenna was not a great solution, better to just try to be extra visible. so. here's what's different about this light. 1. it's much more sturdily constructed than the plastic lights offered by most mfrs. it's aluminum and the clip is bulletproof 2. the daylight flash setting gives a 250-lumen blast, which even floridian drivers find hard to ignore 3. even though it's small and not very heavy, it still is really bright! 4. even though it LOOKS like other lights on the website, it FEELS completely different from them, materials wise. we will see about durability. some purchasers have had to deal with malfunctions but the lezyne company is apparently good about handling those. overall - based on my experience so far, i highly recommend this. it's much more like a piece of real bike equipment and much less like a toy than most other lights you'll find.

Fan of Lezyne lights, front and back

I have been using Lezyne lights for some time. The other two lights are the type where you can switch them from white on the front hold the power button to switch to a single red led for the back. This light offers greater lumens and three red leds. I am using Lezyne lights for safety during daytime rides. The are bright and in flash mode they can be seen a long way off. This new max light has extra lumens so I got it for the rear. A strong light but does not seem to be as bright on flash as I expected.
