The promise of steel.

Lezyne's Steel Drive Floor Pump is designed to be the last floor pump you ever buy, and while that might be bad news for Lezyne's prospects of repeat business, it's good news for you. Lezyne consistently delivers pumps with solid metal construction and timeless wooden handles, and the Steel Drive is no exception, featuring, as its name suggests, a steel barrel and aluminum base with a solid wooden handle.

The pump is capable of filling anything from knobby CX race tires to your everyday road tires with up to 220PSI, which you'll be able to keep track of on a large, easy-to-read pressure gauge. Compatibility isn't an issue for the Speed Chuck head either, whose 90-degree bend allows it to easily work with disc wheels as well as Presta, Dunlop, Schrader valves, and which is equipped with ABS3 technology to allow for minute, precise air pressure adjustments as you're filling your tires.

  • A machined floor pump built to last
  • Steel barrel and piston add long-term durability
  • Lightweight and durable aluminum base for elegant styling
  • Reinforced braided hose helps to prevent wear and tear
  • Varnished wood handle offers high quality design
  • Threaded connection creates secure, air-tight seal

Great Pump

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

At first I was admittedly a little confused on how to get the connection to stick to the stem coming from a flick lock pump. After a little tinkering and many more times using the pump I definitely recommend the threaded valve. The connection point stays where you want it to and doesn't walk off the stem after some jostling. The gauge is also easy to read and gives you just enough to know where your PSI is going to be at. Although if you are a PSI nerd you may want a pump with a larger gauge to really narrow in your exact PSI. The styling is also great and the materials used are nice and durable for many years of use to come.

i like the pump and its been solid so far but my only complaint is the threaded connection. I suppose it makes for a better/seamless connection but it does take more time and effort. I wouldn't say that its a reason not to get it though.

This is it

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There's alot of choices out there and glad I picked this one. Feels solid, reliably accurate and good price. For the mt bike trips (2-6 bikes on just my car alone) this always comes along and gets plenty of use. Easy to use valve adapters. Got a bike? Get a pump.

Pump, Pump it Up.

I did a lot of research before buying a pump (as they seem to get pretty pricey). I like this Pump as It feels super solid and durable. The Presta valve has been one of the easiest that I have ever attached to my bike tube and it only takes a couple pumps to get all the way to 120 psi. Super stoked to use this for years.

Works as advertised. The pressure gauge is super accurate. The connection is simple to put on my presta valve. Sleek looking pump with the wooded handle. This is much better that portable pumps. I can effortlessly get to 100psi. Price is also outstanding for the value. Highly recommend.
