Think of it as profanity prevention.

Drop enough in elevation and so will barometric pressure, leaving your once springy shock feeling like a ride in grandma's 1987 Oldsmobile. Fortunately, Lezyne came up with a gauged mini-pump that will blow other shock pumps away--literally. The Shock Drive pump’s 100% CNC machined aluminum housing makes it light and bomber, and when mushy shocks rear their ugly heads, happiness overtakes you as you pull your disaster aversion tool from your pack.

  • Light and compact design for easy carry
  • Precise gauge integrated into hose with 300 psi limit
  • Bleeder valve for fine tuning shock pressure

Poor Quality

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this shock pump as it was small and light. However, the quality is poor. The seals that ensure pressure is maintained in the system failed, letting all of the air out of my shock in a very inconvenient spot. I tried to put it back to together but it was done. Can't recommend anything that may leave you caught out on a ride.

Worst Shock Pump EVER

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This shock pump is probably the worst piece of a bike tool that I own. The gauge never works properly and it is never accurate. I would highly recommend getting a different shock pump that functions.

suck! unless you don't need a gauge

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It will pump air into a shock, but the gauge is shiite. The gauge jumps in ~20psi increments. So it will work for setting sag, but you have no accuracy in my experience. I even tried taking it apart, cleaning, re-lubing etc. never worked right from day 1. Did I get a lemon? And it's expensive compared to others.

Lezyne Quality but...

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Excellent quality on initial inspection per usual from Lezyne....BUT as Peter pointed out previously the guage is not the easiest to work with. Not my favorite shock pump for precision.

Great quality, not great gauge

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Typical great Lezyne build quality and finish, the gauge can be a bit hard to read as it's pretty condensed.

Gauge is very strangely designed. It brags going up to 300 psi but I find it pointless. I would rather have more definition in the sub 100 range. The handle could also be better for pumping.

    Decent Pump

This thing gets the job done. It's compact and very lightweight. The downsides, for me, is that it doesn't have a bleed valve so it's easy to put air into the shock but it take a bit longer if you have to take some out and add air again. Also, it goes to a very high PSI, but if you're using it on a front fork that operates around 100-120, the gradient isn't fine enough to see exactly how much air you're putting in. For the price, and with a bit of patience, it works just fine.

There is a release valve; it's a little button on the pivot.
