Deathly bright

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For the price I dont think you can beat it. I have used this on the bar and night skiing at local resorts and it illuminates the area around you quite. well. For bikes I would recommend another light for your helmet at 800 lumens or more. I dig it!!

Lezyne Power Drive

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

For $100 this gives you 1100 lumens for ~90 minutes in a 140 g package... which is a good deal considering Lezyne is probably one of the best brands you can get.

I am overall very happy and using it as my primary light on the handlebar, i have an 800 lumnes on my helmet..

The only down side is the battery is not removable...

so much light it hurts!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have used quite a bit of night riding lights in my days, cheap and ones which required extra coin. This one blows the rest out of the water. The light is surprisingly long lasting, and charges rather quickly. The structure is durable and built to take a beating while maintaining its water-resistant level.

Light up the road and be seen!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Overall this light is a solid and very bright choice for night riding or just whenever you want to be seen on the road. The light includes a nifty little box with USB charger and a couple mounting options. I have only used the little silicone mount option and it *barely* fits around my road handle bars and they are not even aero road bars. That being said, this light would most likely not fit on aero road bars. It is pretty heavy as far as lights go but is super bright and charges quickly. I use this little guy when I am out on the road riding in cloudy or twilight conditions just to make sure cars see me. I pair this head light with the Lezyne Strip Drive Rear light ( https://www.competitivecyclist.com/lezyne-strip-drive-rear-light?s=a )
and I'm all ready to go for night riding or commuting! I have only used this light in moderate sprinkling rain and it was fine as far as waterproofing. I'm not sure exactly what Lezyne claims on this light as far as waterproofing but I think it would hold up fine in a downpour, I just probably wouldn't submerge it in water.

*Only giving this light 4 starts because I wish that the silicone strap was slightly bigger because I'm always scared its going to snap on me when I put it on my bike*

Is it water proof? Does it come with USB charger?

Hi there! Yes this comes with a USB charger. I believe it is waterproof but I have not used it in the heavy rain yet, just light sprinkles. Hope this helps!
