Nice tool, but magnets need re-glueing.

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I really like the combination of functions in this tool. Combining a chain breaker, masterlink pliers, rotor truing, and valve core tool in a 58g tool is quite nice. I've never really liked the chain breaker built into any regular multi-tool, they are always pretty cumbersome, and make the multi-tool awkwardly large, so having a separate more ergonomic tool for that is great. (I'm also not counting the bottle opener as an actual feature as I've never in my life used the bottle opener on any multi-tool.) I haven't had to use this in the wild yet, but I happened to have an old SRAM 11 speed chain in my garage so I tested breaking the chain and opening and closing the power lock master link and it handled both easily. As other reviewers mentioned, the magnets do fall out almost instantly. I tested touching a quicklink to the magnets and pulling it off repeatedly, one magnet came off immediately, the others after only a few repetitions. I like the tool enough that I was willing to glue them back in myself, but Lezyne really needs to use some better glue.

You can't store chain links

I really wanted to like this tool. It is similar to other chain pliers but with a built in chain tool. Unfortunately you can't store the chain links in the handle as advertised. The magnets that hold the chain links in the handle come off the tool and stay stuck to the chain links. Once they are out you can't store the chain links in the handle anymore. This happened on 2 pairs.

Does this work with the new Campagnolo 13 Speed (Ekar) chain?

Lovely little tool

Familiarity:

Just holding this tool makes me happy. It is tiny, light weight, and like all Lezyne tools beautifully made. I haven't used it but everything about it suggests it will do the jobs it is designed to do. It's aluminum so not rugged enough for daily shop use, but for occasional trail use it seems to be perfect. If/when I actually use it I'll update my review.
