It's great in the saddle bag. No sharp edges to ruin your spare tube and it's a great little tin for extras like a quick link or some cash, etc. The patches are OK but they'll turn a gash into a slow leak - a slow leak into something to fix properly before tomorrow's ride. They are not semi-permanent fixes. It's nice to be done with the dried out rubber cement tube. I'll keep using it.

Bring back vulcanized patches to CC.
Old school vulcanized patches actually FIX a tube. This is yet another attempt to make a patch that is easy to apply and "might" get you home. But you can't count on it as a fix.

Has never let me down.

I have had to employ the patch kit a few times this Summer. It is simply, lightweight, and easy to use. The patches have always gotten me home, to back to the car in order to replace the tube. The metal case fits nicely into by back pocket.

Used these for years
I'll agree that sometimes the patch doesn't hold, and that is frustrating. Often there will be a wrinkle in the patch. But, 90% of the time though these patches have held and worked for me. I've had a couple of tubes that had a couple of these patches and they lasted a whole season. Small and easy to carry.

Cool kit. Wish it worked.

I love the concept and the smart looking alloy case, but haven't successfully managed to patch a single tube despite several attempts. In each instance, the patch leaked almost immediately. Buy this if you want a slick metal case that just might help in an emergency flat repair. Look for something else to actually solve this problem. I rate it one star because a cool case isn't useful when you are stranded.

Haven't had to use them yet, but from what other reviews say they work well and will at least get you home. The case is nice and slim, fits nicely in my saddle bag. These patches work well as long as you take the time to follow the instructions. After a rash of flats I've had to use more of these than I'd care to but they are easy to use and quick, just make sure you don't get any wrinkles in the patch ( obviously ) still running a patched tire 300 miles later with no problems

Great Patch
This is my 3rd try at buying a decent tire patch kit. These are simple to use and work great. I watched the German language "how to install" video. Didn't understand a word but the demon stration gave me copnfidence that I lacked due to the previous failures with other patches.

Great kit for emergencies
Slim little kit to throw in your saddlebag. Metal case protects patches and keeps them clean. I haven't had the best luck with these glueless patches for long-term repairs on high pressure tires, but they will definitely get you home.

Perfect
If I was designing a patch kit this would be it. The container is quality, not flimsy soda can aluminum. You can drive a car over it. It keeps everything clean and organized. It has just enough extra room to fold up a $20 for emergencies. I've used plenty of these patches thanks to some sub-par tires I was running. Not a single patch has failed. Easy to use and a quality patch.

Perfect
Perfect size fits even in tiny pockets, and the metal casing protects the patches from bending or other damage. Used a patch on one of the cutter tubes and it's held just fine for a week now.

The quick kit
This little fella seems to be a good " hope I wont need it, but glad I have it" kinda guy. It is small, waterproof, and I will say smash proof to a point. That is one thing I like about the aluminum container. You can throw it in your bag and forget about it even if your hydro pack leaks, or you take flight from your bike and land right on it, like I did, you wont have to worry about soggy or crumpled repair equipment. The container keeps it prestine. Bonus with the wicked Huck N Roll logo.

I recently bought a gorgeous chromed Lezyne track pump for ~$100 that had a completely useless head that neither attached nor detached cleanly to simple presta valves. This patch kit didn't work at all for me. I don't see any Lezyne magic here, though I would have been thrilled had their products actually worked.
