Laser Drive Tail Light

The Lezyne Laser Drive Tail Light projects two laser beams alongside your bike to delineate a boundary, so passing vehicles can give you the space you deserve. The laser beams provide added confidence by delivering a greater margin of safety where vehicles previously threatened your safety. This means you'll be able to ride without close calls on the road, especially in areas where cyclists aren't exactly respected or looked out for on the road.

Besides its innovative laser beams, the Laser Drive Tail Light features nine distinctive LED settings that alternate between solid beams and flashing modes, so you can customize it to your specific needs on the road. The battery lasts up to 17.5 hours on its lowest flashing setting, so you can ride all night long without it dying prematurely. And when it does die, it's rechargeable via a micro-USB cable for rapidly charging it at work and home.

  • Delineates laser strip boundary outside your bike
  • Red LED with nine distinctive solid and flash settings
  • Extended lens design for 180 degrees of visibility
  • Micro-USB rechargeable battery lasts up to 17.5 hours
  • Attaches to seatposts with included rubberized mount

Great bike light to get seen

I've used it several times

Figured I'd put a few more dollars into a nice light. The product feels well-constructed with a bit of weight to it, and is definitely a lot bigger than I expected. The rubber strap is stiff at first, but after a few uses it loosens up. I took the light on a metric century and it lasted for the advertised four hours on the Day Flash 1 setting (with the lasers on). The lighting modes are great, especially the daytime light mode, and the lasers are clear after dusk. (I assume anything brighter would be blinding eyes, burning tracks onto the street, or causing forest fires.) If you have a larger saddle bag (I use the Specialized Wedgie) and your seat post isn't raised so high, this light might not have any room on the seat post - but that was my fault and not the product's fault. I wrapped it around the uppermost part of the seat tube instead and it's still very visible. Would definitely recommend for commuters as a main light, and definitely a good choice for road bikers who put safety first. Pleased with the purchase!

Poorly built strap for a good light

I've used it several times

The light works well however the hooks to hold the strap to the seat post is too small. The light fell off after riding for less than a month.

Hotshot-but needs more staying power!

I've put it through the wringer

Bought for its high-lumen output and the laser lines it projects onto the ground beside you, delineating a "lane" for drivers to see and respect (concept!) Well - the basic light is GREAT - bright and prominent and sturdy, but the laser lines are thin little things, not robust bands as some photos suggest, and are invisible - INVISIBLE - in daylight, appearing only at dusk. Worst is, battery life is poor - after a 2-hour ride, the light needs recharging, and for a $60 light, shame, shame! This is my second Lezyne, which also gets a D for battery; but of course, these are NOT blinky-boos you see some bikers contenting themselves with. Still - Lezyne needs to work on this - please!

Bright, Safe, Watertight

I've put it through the wringer

I use this taillight on my commuter, daily ride ~10 miles each way. Every condition imaginable and it keeps on tickin'.
