Great Cage
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Holds the bottle sturdily and very easy to get in & out.
priced right, holds in tight spots
Got a couple full squish rigs that benefit from side entry cages. After busting up some overpriced carbon ones, moved to these. Durable, holds the bottle and accessible from the side at a good price to boot. Winner./
Holds things
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is a nice cage. It holds my water bottle or my Lezyne flow caddy storage bottle. My enduro bike only has room for a cage on the downtube, so I like having the left handed version. This allows me to keep my dominant (right) hand on the bars and use the rear brakes if I need to while trying to hydrate on the fly. I dig the purple color!
Grab Water
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Great, lightweight bottle cage. I got the left handed cage, which allows you to grab the bottle with your left hand if the cage is positioned on the top of the bottom tube.
Holds a bottle splendidly
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This cage holds on to water bottles well and the side entry makes getting the bottle in and out an easy task. I first bought these cages for my gravel bike and have been very happy with them. They're light enough for me and look nice with or without bottles. I ordered this one to slap on my mountain bike for rides when I don't want to carry a hydration pack.
Easy Access and Secure
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
A "no frills" water bottle cage that securely holds a full sized water bottle. Either L or R load option lets load from whichever side is more comfortable. This is probably the most popular selling cage sold by Backcountry, and it is the cage we use on all the Backcountry.com demo bikes. Highly recommend!
Solid Cage
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This cage holds on to bottles really well and the side entry makes getting the bottle in and out of the tight area beneath my shock on my Hightower LT super easy.
Great minimal cage
Works really well with my size small Santa Cruz HTLT, where there's not much room on the frame. Side entry is key, an works great.
It works!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've hit a bunch of jumps with this and haven't lost a bottle yet!
Good value for the money
Not heavy, hold the bottle in place, and looks nice.
What You Want for Your Mountain Bicycle
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This cage holds securely, looks decent, is easy to take bottles out of and put them back in, comes in right and left-handed versions, and fits in tight frames. It is durable and reasonably priced. For being nothing special, it is pretty special!
Lezyne Flow SL Cage
Fits XS MTB frame. Side-loader works great in limited frame space. Item is exactly what you'd expect.
Great Cage
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Have a few of these now and they're a super great deal. Color options are a plus too.
Superb Cage
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I use these on pretty much all my bikes. Looks great, low weight, cheap, hold the bottle well, but also let it go when needed. Highly recommended
Fits my Hightower (Other Cages Do Not)
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Ditto on Andrew's review below - many water bottle cages do not fit on my Santa Cruz Hightower (size large) and this works great. Can finally fit water bottles in, but because of the frame design can only fit smaller bottles in. Not Lezyne's fault though! No issues with losing bottles though, works great. Light and cheap side loader!
Great cage for Santa Cruz frames
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've owned a few Santa Cruz frames and have always run into the issue of finding a proper cage that allows the bottle to sit as low as possible. This fixes the problem altogether!
Great cage
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Light weight, looks nice, holds the bottle great, easy in and out.
Great!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These cages are cheap and get the job done, haven't lost a water bottle yet
Great Cage
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Light, cheap and works great.
Plastic Bottle Cage/ Yeti Ready!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fits on my Yeti Sb6 perfectly, I wanted a bottle cage that can get smashed, thrashed and take a beating without bending or breaking on the undercarriage. Yeti's aren't the best for having a bottle cage but this does the trick!
Hey Jared, Yes, I have lost one bottle that was too small. But I've been using the this Camelbak: https://www.backcountry.com/camelbak-dirt-series-podium-21oz-bottle with zero issues. Even take this on the lifts with me when I'm riding Downhill hard and it hasn't popped out yet!
Good deal, thanks for info and link. I have the regular podium bottle and always end up with dirt in the top. Didn't realize they make a "dirt series" version. Cheers.
Any issues with losing water bottles?
