If you're a weight weenie, this isn't for you. The bottle is easy in easy out and so far holding up good. I slam my bottle in the cage while peddling and it works well.

Well, hopefully this is the goofiest employee review I'll ever write. We were running a little low on cages, and I saw this one came in purple, and honestly kind of impulse bought it. Lo and behold, I did not think the situation through at all. I got it on my bike yesterday and went to see if I could grab my bottle while riding, so I could report back on the quality and ease of use. Unfortunately, all I can report is that I ride left handed, and I bought myself a left-entry bottle cage – so that's pretty much a complete bust. I leaned down and ended up with a handful of bottle cage and no bottle. It did keep a solid hold on the bottle, though! Seemed like it would be pretty easy to operate if you get the correct entry side; the plastic has a nice little bit of flex to it. It also fits super nicely on my tiny XS frame. Just double check which is your dominant hand before ordering.

This is a nice cage. It holds my water bottle or my Lezyne flow caddy storage bottle. My enduro bike only has room for a cage on the downtube, so I like having the left handed version. This allows me to keep my dominant (right) hand on the bars and use the rear brakes if I need to while trying to hydrate on the fly. I dig the purple color!

Great, lightweight bottle cage. I got the left handed cage, which allows you to grab the bottle with your left hand if the cage is positioned on the top of the bottom tube.

This cage holds on to water bottles well and the side entry makes getting the bottle in and out an easy task. I first bought these cages for my gravel bike and have been very happy with them. They're light enough for me and look nice with or without bottles. I ordered this one to slap on my mountain bike for rides when I don't want to carry a hydration pack.

A "no frills" water bottle cage that securely holds a full sized water bottle. Either L or R load option lets load from whichever side is more comfortable. This is probably the most popular selling cage sold by Backcountry, and it is the cage we use on all the Backcountry.com demo bikes. Highly recommend!

What You Want for Your Mountain Bicycle

This cage holds securely, looks decent, is easy to take bottles out of and put them back in, comes in right and left-handed versions, and fits in tight frames. It is durable and reasonably priced. For being nothing special, it is pretty special!

Ditto on Andrew's review below - many water bottle cages do not fit on my Santa Cruz Hightower (size large) and this works great. Can finally fit water bottles in, but because of the frame design can only fit smaller bottles in. Not Lezyne's fault though! No issues with losing bottles though, works great. Light and cheap side loader!
