A powerful and seemingly durable light
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought this light a couple months ago and have been putting it through its paces since then. So far, brightness and duration claims seem accurate and the light performs very well on the road. The beam is relatively tight, so it's not quite what you would want for riding singletrack at night, but for all the night road riding I have been able to squeeze in it has been very dependable. Additionally, the high-lumen pulsing is great for day riding and in that mode the battery lasts for a very respectable 20+ hours (I haven't timed it though). Only rating it four stars for the rather poor mount it comes with. I don't have aero bars and it barely wraps around mine, so you're out of luck if you do have them. It is removable and has a threaded hole, but I couldn't find any OEM parts for using it on a under-computer gopro-type mount. However, I did design one of my own and 3D printed it with great success -- but Lezyne doesn't get credit for that. If they could include a piece of mounting hardware like that, it would be a hands-down 5 star.
