Transfer 3 Bike Rack

The Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Rack is a versatile hitch-mount rack that will keep your bikes safe and sound when you need to take them for a drive. No more disassembling bikes to squish them precariously in the trunk or perching awkwardly on an SUV's foot rails to mount them on the roof.

Unlike many hitch racks that rely on hanging bikes from bars that thread under the top tubes, the Transfer 3 has tray-style mounts and a locking system that doesn't contact the frame. A rear wheel strap and a front ratcheting arm hold bikes snugly and securely in place without ever needing to put pressure on the frames. Kuat's PerfectFit adjustment system also lets you adjust the front wheel cradles to avoid any potential contact between bikes. They'll stay locked in place throughout your travels without any damage from friction or side sway.

The Transfer 3 locks in place horizontally to carry bikes, and it folds up cleanly out of the way when not in use with a spring-mounted foot pedal. Kuat also addresses the pesky problem of not being able to access the hatch with a third locking position that angles the rack down so you can add a last minute cooler of ice cream sandwiches to the trunk before embarking on a cycling adventure.

The Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Rack will fit almost all 1.25-inch and 2-inch receivers, with the exception that it is not compatible with 1.25-inch class 1 hitches. It supports wheel sizes ranging from 20-inches up to 700c and 29-inches and wheelbases of up to 47-inches. Optional upgrades include a locking hitch pin and integrated cable locks.
