It's easy to install, by sliding the two pieces of your Kuat Mini Skinny Cargo Basket apart, and placing the Basket Extension between the pieces before sandwiching it back together. With the extra space, the Mini Skinny is able to provide just as much load surface as wider cargo racks, while enabling you to use the other half of your crossbar space as needed for other gear.
