Kryptonite offers their KryptoFlex 1218 Combo Cable Lock as an easy go-to to tag along with you on your errands, with 12-millimeters of braided steel cable to keep your bike secure with its cut resistant strength. The KryptoFlex 1218 Combo features an easy to set 4-digit combination lock, so you don't have to worry about losing your key when you're out and about, and its easy to reset, thanks to its indexed number dials. The lock also comes along with the Transit FlexFrame-C so you can strap it to your bike and have no excuses to not bring it along.

The KryptoFlex is mid to light-weight lock option, so while it'll protect from an opportunistic cheat, it isn't built to offer complete protection where bikes are actively pursued by thieves. Perfect for your corner market in a sleepy suburb, but maybe not ideal for big-city protection, we recommend pairing the KryptoFlex 1218 with a heavier duty U-lock or chain if you need to up the security.
