not durable

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Cons: first bike ride, my hand hit the bell and the spring dislodged, rendering the bell useless Pros: good looking sleek design nice sounding bell with long sustain Might be good for a road bike, but I was frustrated by how quickly it broke

Dope Bell

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Has a good ring to it, looks good, and doesn't take up too much room

On 5 of my bikes now

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Great little bell with a classic sound and tasteful aesthetic. Not the loudest but that's likely a product of the shape and smaller surface area that can vibrate, which is a trade-off I will take. It's slim profile doesn't clutter up my handlebars which is especially nice on my sleek road bike aero-bars and also my already tech-heavy mountain bike handlebars.

Good, but has a couple flaws

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love the form factor. SO small on the bar, barely visible. I got plenty of compliments at the trailhead "wait...is that a bell?" it snaps onto the bar positively and is easy to install. The piece of leather keeps the bar from being scratched which is a nice touch. I've crashed several times with the bell on the bar and it hasn't been ripped off or scratched even, so the form factor clearly has a function. The downsides are a bit more glaring though. First is the volume. Its just not loud enough. No matter how hard you pull back the striker the sound stays the same. I have made sure the bell isnt contacting the grip or shifter or anything else that would mute its sound. The second thing is the spring on the striker lever wears out, so now its just loose and when I go downhill it rattles and rings constantly. Yes I know I said I crashed a bunch above, but I made sure the lever wasn't damaged. Its just worn out. If I wanted that, I would have bought a timber bell.

This has worked for me while riding on dirt trails. So far the people have been able to hear it. Nice sleek design.
