Item # KAP0026

All killer, no filler.

Flexing its protective muscles with deep coverage and Composite Fusion Plus technology, the Kali Protectives Maya Enduro Helmet provides peace of mind before you drop into techy, rock-strewn trails where falling carries serious consequences. Deeper coverage means you'll be adequately covered, should things go horribly wrong on high-consequence lines.

It's designed to be extremely lightweight without sacrificing one ounce of protection with its Composite Fusion Plus technology, which fuses a rugged polycarbonate shell to multi-density EPS foam that dissipates crushing forces. This way, you'll be equipped to ride harder and faster than you previously though possible—all without worrying about your friends picking up the pieces afterwards.

This version of the Maya Enduro Helmet features an adjustable brim that shields your face from eye-poking branches and blinding sunlight, but without the attached GoPro mount on other versions of this helmet. 12 sculpted vents rapidly evacuate built-up heat, so you don't succumb to long climbs and extended efforts under the blistering sun. And to ensure it remains secure when you're hauling at high speeds, Kali's dual-closure system maintains a secure, head-wrapping fit without pinching or pressure points.

  • Impressively rugged lid for aggressive trail and enduro
  • Composite Fusion Plus technology absorbs crushing forces
  • Deep coverage adds peace of mind on technical terrain
  • 12 sculpted vents prevent overheating during warm weather
  • Adjustable brim shields eyes from branches and sunlight
  • Dual-closure system for a secure, head-wrapping fit
  • Soft liner with bug net and anti-stink finish

Best fit ever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a L or XL oval shaped head. Most helmets squeeze my forehead. No helmet, until this Kali, secured the sides of my head. It is a pleasure to wear a helmet that engulfs your head and has the same shape. I have had Kask, Giro, Specialized - none come close to this fit. I found the helmet while renting a mountain bike in Santa Monica, CA. The fit was so good, I purchased one online before leaving LA. I've put many a long mountain bike ride and commutes into this helmet and it never dissappoints.

I'm going to buy their road helmet and give away a 1 year old Kask.

Light and comfy!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I have had 2 of these helmets, and both have been equally made as far as fit, comfort, and feel. Breathes quite well, and the space allowed for glasses is quite nice. I have worn it with Smith, 100%, and Oakley glasses with no issues. Visor look a little long based of appearance, but it doesn't block your view at all while riding. The retention system is a squeeze together ratchet clamp, and while it works good, i wish it was a boa/twist style option for easier fine tuning.

Surprisingly Great Helmet!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been riding this helmet all year. It was initially my backup helmet but after riding with it a few times, I found myself grabbing it every time. It is simple, affordable, comfortable, and well ventilated. I would definitely consider this the most cost effective helmet for trail riding and would recommend it to anyone.

Great helmet!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L/XL

I had a Giro Montaro and once I got the Kali Maya I haven't looked back. Its lighter, fits more secure, the fitting system is more sturdy and it looks cooler! I ride mostly trails with some enduro and downhill mixed in there and the Maya has been more than enough. I have taken a couple smaller spills and the helmet has done great! Kept my noggin safe! Highly recommend the Maya!

Distinctive Look, Sturdy Build, Nice Fit

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm on my second Kali Maya after putting a nice dent in the first one in an over-the-bars incident. The Maya is really well-made, with multidensity EPS foam enclosed in a durable shell. I have found that a lot of exposed EPS foam in a mountain bike helmet tends to get beat up and degraded quickly. The visor is nice and long for protection against sun and branches, and is easy to adjust up or down on-the-fly. The retention system is a step behind the very best on handed adjustments on some other helmets, but many of those helmets cost over twice as much! The Kali Maya is a great pick for riders who use gear hard and don't want to spend a fortune!
