Tough as nails.
Kali Protectives' Aazis Soft Knee Guard uses perforated neoprene with a soft-shell knee cup, lined with Nitrex high-density foam, to protect without restricting pedaling. The cup is constructed from flexible ABS plastic, so they're impact tough, yet able to give for excellent mobility.
In abrasive zones, an Aramid weave expands protection and ensures durability. The Aazis Soft Knee Guard features an anti-pull-down design that works to prevent migration when pedaling. It is fully washable, and antimicrobial materials help keep the funk at bay.
The Kali Protectives Aazis Soft Knee Guard comes in sizes Small through X-Large and in the color Black.
- Nitrex high-density foam with ABS plastic cup

good knee guard, my first set of kali protectives to test out, fits similar to my 661 rage knee guards and is a very similar design. Will enjoy putting these through the ringer over the next few months
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I used these pads last season and was so stoked on them I got another pair. The only reason I needed to get another pair is because the material is tearing right between the top of the actual pad, and the top velcro strap. I guess the meshy fabric is what makes them lighter and more breathable than other pads out there, but I was hoping to get more than one season out of them. The best part about them is how well they stay in place. I ride lift-accessed trails so I'm not pedaling in them, but I put them on in the morning and they stay put until I take them off at the end of the day. They're soft and comfortable, but they have saved my knees many many times! Decent price for a great knee pad...hopefully the second pair lasts a little longer!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These are very similar to the Fox Launch Pro and the Troy Lee T-Bone. A little lower profile than the Foxs, and similar in fit and comfort. Top and bottom velcro closures make them stay in place when pedaling. Haven't had them out on a super long effort or a hot day, so not sure on breathability.
