Gravity Cap Computer Mount for Garmin
It doesn't take much for a cockpit to start to feel cluttered, especially on your mountain bike. If you're riding with a dropper and a front derailleur, your bars are probably about as full as you want them. When you add a computer into the mix, mount it onto the K-Edge Gravity Cap Computer Mount for Garmin. The Gravity Cap replaces your existing top cap and gives you a low-profile way to keep your computer safe and visible while you ride. K-Edge specifically had DH and enduro riders in mind when developing the Gravity Cap, but anyone logging data on a compatible Garmin can use the mount. Just know that larger Edge models and steep stem angles won't get along great with the computer when used together; they're compatible, just not ideal.
- Mount keeps your computer close and your cockpit open
- Durable aluminum mount replaces your original top cap
- Ideal for smaller computers and mountain or road frames

Doesn't hold garmin tightly
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I think i may have gotten a defective unit. Garmin pops off on rougher terain which leads to a 10 minute hunt for the head unit. Have another one on a different bike that works well. Not sure why this last one is so poor.

Good for MTB
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Installed this on all my mountain bikes, keep my Garmin's tuck inside the cockpit just in case of any crashes. I wouldn't mount this on a road bike due to viewing angle at the stem but on my mtb it does a great job.

Can this be used with the Garmin Etrex 20x?

No more straps on your handlebar
This is a very convenient way to reduce clutter in your cockpit. Only problem I see with having the monitor at the stem, is that if you're used to having the monitor ahead of your handlebar, you will feel you have to lower your head more.

Great product
Build is of good quality. I use on my MTB and my garmin hasn't had any problems, even on rough trails. I might get a second for my cx bike.

different spot, cleans ups the bars
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is a nice mount. Doesn't mount on the bars, so it keeps them clean. Quality is excellent. This isn't for someone like Chris Froome who constantly stares at their power meter!

Good idea, poor placement
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I was excited to get this and install it on the bike. My gripe is the location, as the head unit is really not in an ideal location for my liking. Since this one didn't end up meeting my expectations, I thought I would try another one that moves the head unit to a better location and haven't looked back. This may work for some, but it didn't work out as I had hoped. Any questions about K-Edge, or GPS units, please feel free to reach out to me.

Dear Scott, This is called a Gravity Cap as the Downhill Mt. Bike position (aka "Gravity Mt. Bike") makes this computer placement work well for many. Luckily, K-EDGE makes over a dozen mounts for Garmin computers. We all use the Stem and Adjustable Stem Mount for our cross country mountain bikes as its a much better position for out of the saddle pedaling. Of course, our out-front mounts are the much better option for road riding. What mount did you switch to before never looking back?

Hey Jonathan, Unfortunately, all of Garmin's cycle-specific computers use a special mounting point that isn't found on the Etrex computers. Garmin does make a mount that will work for you though! Check it out below, and feel free to shoot me a message at jdraper@backcountry.com if you have any more questions. Thanks! https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/pn/010-11023-00
