Ripping and racing down the trail on untamed terrain comes easy on the Juliana Wilder Carbon CC X01 Eagle Trail Mountain Bike. This carbon-framed race machine has us zipping through the woods and our local trails whether it's a race weekend or a weekday ride. The bike uses Santa Cruz's famed VPP suspension and flex-stays to provide a supple yet stable riding platform. The Wilder comes stock with 115mm of rear travel to give us a bit more support than the normal 100mm travel cross-country bikes. This Juliana gets all the bells and whistles of a premium race bike for game-day performance.
With the Wilder, Juliana delivers a beefed-up cross-country bike with numbers that speak to its capabiltiy on a wide variety of terrain. The bike comes standard with a 67.1-degree headtube angle and large 29in wheels that are purpose-built for getting over any kind of trail obstacle. Being a cross-country bike, a slightly shorter rear end gets us through tight and twisty terrain without us feeling like we're dragging the rear end. Juliana gives the suspension a special treatment as it's factory tuned for female rider ergonomics. The Juliana Wilders allows us to enjoy the forgiveness of a trail bike with the low weight, high response, and pedaling efficiency of a cross-country bike.
Spec on the Wilder gives us a platform that's going to be churning over technical dirt for years to come. The SRAM X01 drivetrain offers enduro-level toughness at cross-country weight spec while still delivering range enough to climb steep mountain mesa's. Fox suspension outfits the bike front and rear with the supportive and responsive fork getting 120mm of lift and forgiveness during the ride. RaceFace wheels are hooked up with sticky Maxxis Rekon rubber which delivers tons of contact points at a low weight.
*Due to unprecedented demand in the global supply chain and the bike industry over the last 18 months, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be minor. If you have any questions, reach out to a Gearhead by chatting online or calling 1-888-276-7130.
