Why We Like The Julbo Vermont Classic Spectron 3 Sunglasses

While big names steadily dropped out of the glacier glasses game in recent decades, Julbo remained one of the staunch suppliers of the frames it pioneered. Originally developed to help mineral seekers track down treasure on the blinding slopes of Mont Blanc, the Vermont Classic Sunglasses are back to help Julbo celebrate the brand's 125 years of outdoor sunnies. Whether we're gearing up for a mountaineering trip or a hiker with longstanding awe and respect for the frames, we always grab a pair before heading into the mountains.

Heart Broken-dont fit face shape

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I have been in love with these glasses for two years, as soon as I opened the box I could smell the leather, from the side and nose piece cover, the temple pieces are an amazing balance of sturdy and soft, and the lenses have the perfect tint, unfortunately, as much as I love them I am about to return them, the glasses did not fit my face shape, I have very high cheekbones and the nose piece is not even close to resting on my nose, the leather side covers are the only part of the glasses holding them on, I really needed something like this, love everything about them but I need to go back to Asian fit frames :( I would love more options and recommendations.

This is the second pair I've owned. 1st pair was spectron 4 in the mid 80s for the high glare area I worked in. 2nd pair was last year spectron 3. For me perfect fit and not as dark. I have had many complements on the style. I wear them daily.

I won't be seen in public without them

Like Heisenberg's fedora, these glasses are a critical component of my ego and persona.

Love the classic style

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I LIVE in these glasses when I'm mountaineering, on glaciers all day, and even day-touring. I also LOVE the retro, original style, and the history behind it. 100% recommend.
