Paying $7 to return sunglasses
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Charging customers $7 to return sunglasses they received with a defect on them is ridiculous. The glasses look great and I would be completely satisfied with them had they not come with a scratch. I cannot believe though that I have to pay $7 to return every item I purchased. I lose up to 10% of my money on such returns even though I was not at fault.
Ok trail running sunglasses
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs large
I've used the Venturi's on several trail runs thus far. They are a little bit bigger lenses but do cover your field of vision well. I like the fact that they are light weight and I've noticed a little change in the photochromic lens which is nice going from sunny to shady parts of the trail. I do love that these don't seem to fog up and sweat doesn't distort the lens when running. I guess my only issue is with them sliding down my nose a bit. I think like the other reviewer, I've got a skinnier nose and I find I'm adjusting them to stay up a bit more on my nose when running. The nose piece is somewhat adjustable to tighten them up but maybe it's just due to me sweating a bunch. Regardless, I like the color of the lens and perhaps with wearing them more I'll get used to the fit of them.
Closee - but no cigar
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I loved this frame and lense - but unfortunately with a skinny nose - I couldn't get the glasses to postion correctly over my eyes. They have the best Photochromic lens I've tried - but the frame just wouldn't fit me. Bummer as I really wanted these to work.

Makes Riding Better
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: One Size
I truly enjoy this pair; one of the better buys this past year. I mountain bike three or four times a week and can’t imagine biking without them. The grip around the bridge of the nose and along side my temples helps the glasses stay on, especially when I start sweating. I ran into a huge issue with my old riding glasses where the lens would fog up, for whatever reason these don’t at all. It may be because of the slits between the frames and the lens itself. Lightweight, durable and super comfy – definitely a good buy.
