Why We Like The Ultimate Photochromic Sunglasses

One pair of sunglasses for everything, the Julbo Ultimate Photochromic Sunglasses are great for sun-up to sun-down rides. We use these as our daily riding glasses, and the minimal frame plus wide field of view means we can see everything coming our way. With a photochromatic lens we’re never having to think about putting a different lens in our frame depending on the light conditions.

Great lenses

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Returning these because they don’t fit my face well. The lenses are top notch. My eyes don’t feel fatigued after wearing these in bright, sunny, desert light. I can also wear these right at sunset. The arms are too long for my head and get pushed down (lifting the entire frame - no contact with nose) when wearing a helmet. Nose pads were kind of uncomfortable to me. I couldn’t get a good fit. I have a low nose bridge. When running, there was a some bouncing and the lenses would stick to my temples. I wish I could combine the these lenses with the smith bobcat frame.
