Charge forward.

Hard-charging trail rides and enduro events require wheels designed to handle some serious abuse, but you don't want to be left out in the cold without any cash for snacks or race entry fees after buying them. Industry Nine steps in to save the day with its Enduro S 27.5in Wheelset, made from strong and durable aluminum for a long-lasting ride that won't drain your wallet.

The Enduro S rim borrows pieces from the top-end Torch Mountain System wheels to provide an ideal balance of width and weight. Made from alloy, these rims boast a 30.5mm internal rim width and low-profile bead hooks for impeccable tire seating with or without tubes. At the center, Industry Nine laces the rims to a set of Torch S-series hubs to keep everything turning smoothly and hiccup-free. With three A2 steel pawls and a 60t drive ring, each hub provides a 6-degree/60-point engagement range for efficient power transfer and lightning-fast responsiveness the second you push on the pedals.

  • A strong, durable wheelset for enduro and trail riding
  • Aluminum construction balances weight, stiffness, and cost
  • Internal width boosts traction
  • Ships with tubeless tape and valves already installed
  • Industry Nine brings a focus on US craftsmanship

Great Upgrade!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this wheelset to replace the stock DT Swiss E1900s on my 2016 Intense Tracer 275C thats rolling on 2.35” Maxxis Aggressors (tubeless). I’m a fairly aggressive rider and at 6’2” @ 206lbs, am hard on wheelsets. On my first ride, I immediately noticed how well the I9s go wherever you point them. I ride technical singletrack here that’s full of rocks and roots, so line choice is really important to a smooth ride. On the I9s, I just pointed the bike and rode. You don’t realize how much focus you put on choosing lines until you don’t have to. The I9s are stiff, and that allows the suspension do what it’s supposed to do without transmitting trail feedback to your hands. These wheels are also really light, and I certainly noticed this on steep climbs. Others who have I9s also mention the quick engagement of the hub. I noticed this most on flow trails with lots of turns. I was really able to keep my momentum going without having to constantly work to keep my speed constant. I’m impressed with the I9s and feel it was a great upgrade. If you’re on the fence, I can tell that you won’t be disappointed. Finally, Scott G. at Competitive Cyclist really helped me out and made me a great deal. Thanks Scott!
