Exie X01 Eagle Mountain Bike

From crushing the competition on the World Cup cross-country race circuit to shredding our local high-alpine trails in Park City, the Ibis Exie X01 Eagle Mountain Bike is a short-travel bike with capabilities far beyond its looks. The carbon frame is hand-built in Santa Cruz, California, and clocks in under 4.5 pounds with a Fox Factory Float DPS rear shock installed. 100mm of DW-Link rear suspension delivers confidence-inspiring rear wheel traction all over the mountain and an incredibly supportive pedaling platform to provide the freedom to drop the hammer whenever we see the opportunity. The speed-focused geometry features a 67.2-degree headtube angle for razor-sharp handling and a steep, size-specific seat tube angle so that we can get into a powerful pedaling position right over the bottom bracket, no matter what our inseam is. Plus, there's room for two full-size water bottles in the front triangle, allowing us to ditch the pack and focus on the trail ahead.

The Exie X01 Eagle kit is built with high-end, high-performance components that are going to carry us through a full season of day-in, day-out racing, and training so that we can spend more time riding and less time wrenching. SRAM's ultra-reliable X01 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain shifts smoothly and precisely no matter how gnarly the conditions get and gives us a 520% gear range so that we can get up and down the mountain as efficiently as possible. The Fox Factory Float DPS rear shock is paired with a 120mm Fox Factory 34 Step Cast fork to help us crush through some of the gnarly terrain we've started to see on modern XC race courses, and a pair of Shimano SLX brakes gives us the ability to modulate our speed through highly technical sections.
