so far i've been using these during my longer runs/bikes and had no issues with side aches or stomach aches, and the flavor is great too. Does seem to provide lasting energy when the muscles start to lose their edge. Would buy these again!
I use these for backpacking trips and half marathons. I've tried almost every flavor and love them all. It goes down smooth and keeps the engine running - especially when you feel like you're almost out of gas. These are my go-to gels!
After eating too many Gu's in a recent trail ultra race, I knew I needed to make a switch so my stomach didnt turn into a rock and my blood sugar didnt spike from synthetic sugars. After trying out the kiwi strawberry, I decided these would be my new go to. The honey stinger gels go down smooth, taste incredible, and dont make me crash like other gels. So far I am very impressed. The mango orange is incredible!
As an ultra runner, nutrition and healthy energy is top priority. These gels are really great for just that and I also really appreciate how easy they are to suck down in the middle of a run. A lot of other gels on the market are a lot thicker and harder to get down. These gels are a good consistency and they taste really great too!!
I use these jels for my road bike racing/training. Ive tried several brands of jel and the taste/texture is perfect in these! The natural ingredients are easy on my stomach and keep me from getting that nasty race gut feeling when you're 3+ hours and 6+ jels into that training ride from hell or leg destroying race. Basically, if you do any sort of gut wrenching endurance activity but don't want your gut to wrench because of your fuel, then choose honey stinger from backcountry and order in bulk.

I got the fruit smoothie after reading one of the previous reviews. I was excited to try it and when I ate one of the gels I thought that Honey Stinger used a cough syrup recipe to make the gel. FYI, fruit smoothie is horrible unless you like cough syrup.
These really do give you a boost of energy. Like, they actually work, it's crazy. I especially like the Kiwi-Strawberry because the flavor tastes great and it has a little bit of caffeine for an extra boost. I try to have a couple of these in my pack for longer rides to keep me going, Definitely worth it!
