Bike Long Sr. Glove

The Hestra Bike Long Sr. Gloves feature reinforced durability and comfortable gel padding for all-day comfort no matter the trail. Hestra uses breathable mesh across the back of the hand for moisture management and airflow, with Clarino reinforcement to fend off branches and debris. The Clarino palm features gel padding to soften trail vibrations and a Touchpoint pointer finger and thumb tips for easy touchscreen use.

A soft terry cloth panel across the back of the thumb makes quick work of wiping away sweat, and a hook-and-loop closure lets you dial in the perfect fit for a confident, secure ride. Hestra's sizing scale may be a bit different than you're used to. The numerical sizing for these gloves closely correlates to US men's shoe size numbering and offers a wider range than the traditional small to large scale. Please refer to the men's/unisex sizing chart to help guide your size choice.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Well took them out for a test drive. While fingers seemed ok thumb length short and thus going to try xl? Measuring it appeared that L was correct but...

Hestra All Year Round

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just as you'd expected from Hestra's winter offerings, the Hestra Bike Long Sr. Glove is no exception to the durable and high quality that Hestra is known for. These gloves are ultra comfortable and provide excellent ventilation for the hotter days. Padding on the palm helps absorb the harsher trails and keeps your palms blister free.

First pair of gloves, maybe my last

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

After picking up my first mountain bike recently, it was time to pick up all the necessary accessories. Gloves with a padded palm were a top priority due to a a snowboard accident that left some residual nerve damage in my hand. Biking without gloves left me with a numb left hand sometimes and it was quite uncomfortable. I was unfamiliar with the Hestra brand and I'd be lying if I said I picked these for anything other than the color and padded palms. The ventilation and the Touchpoint finger tips were not features I cared about about I sure do love them after using these glove for a couple weeks. Flying through the trails, I can feel the cool air pushing across the tops of my hands and I can use Strava or text my mother with the Touchpoint finger tips. The palms seem to be durable and the fabrics used are comfortable and do not rub. If/when these wear out, I see no reason to change to a different glove. I bought the size 9 without measuring and they fit perfectly. I'd call my hands large yet skinny.

Great looking, comfortable

Great pair of gloves, they breath well and they've felt pretty well even on 90 degree days. Index and thumb tips make starting strava way easier even if you've mastered the node tap. The gray material on the material got dirty pretty fast with black rubber grips but hey, they're mtb gloves.

Hestra MTB

  • Fit: True to size

It's great to be able to use Hestra in the summer on my trail bike! Gloves are comfy and strong. Convient to use my phone without taking my glove off with the touch fingers. Hand temp have been perfect but I have not been summer riding while hot. Handlebar feel is perfect with brake finger traction. Fit is true to Hestra size. Stoked on the fit, feel and function

What you would expect from Hestra

If you're looking for a very well made bomber bike glove this is it. These are made very sturdy and have light padding on the palm. Sizing is true and if you click on the link, they have a printable hand sizer. Also, if you currently own any Hestra gloves, check the size on them and it will translate to these. They have a great absorbent thumb for wiping away sweat and for your nose. My only concern is that they are sort of thick and might be warm on hot days. I've only ridden with them this spring and max temp has been not much more than 70 degrees.
