When your current brake system feels soft, spongy, and inefficient, it's time to upgrade to the Hayes Dominion T2 Disc Brake for hard-line braking no matter how difficult the terrain. Hayes partnered with Reynolds to redesign the Dominion T2 by using a carbon-fiber lever and titanium hardware, reducing weight to emphasize low-effort lever feel as you scramble through technical singletrack. Weight savings were paired with a glide ring on the master cylinder piston and sealed bearing at the lever blade pivot to reduce friction. Moving down to the caliper, it features a CNC-machined titanium construction and is engineered to, once again, lessen the load as two pistons offer a crisp bite, contributing to excellent power and modulation. Here you'll also find our favorite Two-Stroke dual bleed system on either side of the caliper to optimize bleeds and improve air evacuation, making sure spongy brakes are a thing of the past.
