Welcome to the world of two wheels.
Your future rippers are running circles around you in the yard, and they don't care to sit still long enough to push buttons on a tablet or watch TV. You've clearly done something right already — continue to fuel their burgeoning love for the outdoors by teaching them the very first fundamentals of riding a bike on the GT Mach One 12-inch Kids' Push Bike.
The Mach One is solid enough to handle everything it might encounter as your little one's first introduction to the world of cycling —from driveway bumps and spills to being dragged into a backyard fort. GT constructs it with a hi-tensile steel frame to give your little one a stable platform for learning to ride, with solid aluminum components and its BMX-style flat handlebars. They'll be able to hone balancing skills naturally without pedals, training wheels, or brakes getting in the way just yet, using wide, forgiving tires to explore their local terrain. And they'll always remember their first bike.

Push Bike with Style
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought this as a gift for my cousin's 2yr old boy. He is super stoked on it but still just a tad small to reach the bars.
Really cool push bike
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I, slightly overly ambitiously, got one of these for my son's first birthday. Yes, really. And no, he couldn't ride it. Fast forward a year and change...
He was big enough to ride this when he was closer to 2 1/2 to 3, but the caveat there was that I had to cut the seatpost down in order to get the saddle low enough at that point (the frame design limits how low the post can go). Now that he's 4 1/2 i've maxed out what is left of the seatpost, so I'll need to get a new one and the bike will continue to fit him for some time.
He loves it, and it's actually a pretty cool little bike. The problem now is his little brother wants to ride it, so looks like instead of getting a new seatpost I'll be getting a second one of these!
