Been freezing my butt off cycling in the very early morning. This wind proof layer is exactly that...wind proof. So when you’re doing 35 mph down a hill on your road bike you don’t freeze. Size up if you plan to layer.

Is the material used under the arms and in the back more of a light fleece vs. the mesh used on the non-thermo model?

Great piece of gear
- Fit:
- True to size
I am odd shaped for a cyclist at 5’6” 210. More of a weightlifter than a cyclist. Large fit me perfectly. It was shocking to go from using underarmour thermal gear to this. This is superior to any base layer I have tried.

great base layer
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Fits like a glove - the size chart is accurate. I'm 5 ft 11 in 165 lbs and the XL is just right. I can see why this is priced where it is; it's a complex piece of clothing that gets the Windstopper fabric in front and the ventilated fabric in the back - even on the sleeves.
