Disapointed but not done trying

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I received them yesterday. Got out this morning at 45 degrees with a pair of padded half finger Specialized gloves over them. Instantly my fingers were freezing. I almost turned around after about 4 miles and went home. As it got into the 50's, they were OK. There's no padding, and they are just a pair of pull on gloves in which the Gore Tex is supposed to block the wind. I have 2 other pair of inexpensive Rock Bros. and INBIKE gloves that have padding and do as well in the cold temps. I don't want to send them back after wearing them on a ride because I like Competitive Cyclist and don't feel that would be right. Especially in these times. What I am going to do, is wear them as a liner under my $15.00 padded gloves and I'll bet that will work fine. I just hate to pay $49.00 for a pair of liners. They are overpriced in my opinion. I called and talked to a Gear Head when I ordered them. We decided that they should be great with padded half finger gloves over them. They are kinda hard to get on because there is no velcro or anything at the wrist.

Did Gore change a good thing?

I returned this product before using it

I ordered this Gore Windstopper to update my existing Gore Windstopper gloves. I regularly wear my current gloves Fall & Spring in temperatures between 4C><12C. After 7 seasons, I thought it was time to update them. I ordered what I thought was an equivalent Windstopper glove; however, when this glove arrived I was disappointed. The new glove fit well, but has no padding and lacks - IMO - a proper cuff. I returned these gloves.

The gloves give me what I expected as far as temperature protection (45-65 degrees), but they are tough to get on and off. The cuff of the glove is very tight, and I wish they were phone friendly (only exasperates my first issue when I have to pull them off to answer the phone or take a picture).

This is a very well-constructed windstopper glove that performs as advertised. When the temps are in the low 60's to mid 50's these gloved excel.

I like Gore gloves because of the Windstoppper fabric, fit, and durability. This is my 3rd pair. It's slightly narrower than the older pairs. It doesn't have any gel pads on the palms, which is finy by me. For me, they're comfortable in 50-60F temp range.
