C5 Thermo Bib Tights+
Featuring an intelligent matrix of fabrics, the C5 Thermo Bib Tights+ from Gore Wear keeps you comfortably warm for road and trail rides alike in the colder months. The C5 Thermo Bib Tights+ uses additional insulating materials where you need it, such as at the knees, and reduces it elsewhere to reduce bulk for a light, lively feel. Its Thermo lining delivers plush warmth and boasts a brushed finish for soft comfort against the skin.
The use of flat-lock seams throughout keeps any stitching from irritating your skin and preventing you from getting the most from your ride. The seam-free, mesh upper sits close to your body beneath the layers and ventilates well so you don't overheat on the climbs, while its X-shaped women's-specific bibs have a hook closure that runs over the breastbone without any friction. Keeping comfort at the forefront of its design, these tights employ a women's-specific Advanced Road insert with Windstopper Cup technology up front to protect sensitive areas from arctic blasts. Plus, reflective logos help you stay seen when there isn't much light present.

Sizing & fit not right for me
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Fit:
- Runs large
- Size Bought
- Small and Medium
- Height
- 5` 8"
- Weight
- 135 lbs
I purchased these looking for a fairly snug fit. I am 5'8" and 135 pounds, athletic build but not overly muscular -- I got a Medium and Small. Didn't even try on the Medium. The Small was too big in the lower body, loose around the knees and ankles, and there were folds in the upper leg where it meets my hips. But it was plenty snug around the chest area. I decided to return these and go with another brand, because I think the Extra Small would have been too tight in the upper body, even if the legs fit better. I didn't do any rides in these, but the overall quality and warmth seemed great, and the chamois seemed like it would be comfortable.

For my girlfriend
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- Medium
Overall she likes the fit. The legs are a bit long. She's 5'6" proportionate torso to legs. The upper is a bit small for her breasts. Otherwise she likes the fabric and the overall performance of the bib tights.

Super stretchy, flexible, non-restrictive fabric. I was pleased that the ankle cuffs (which don't have a zipper) fit over my big feet with no problem and were still tight around my small ankles. They are warm and block the wind well. The potty zipper is great!!! It works really well, and I like that it has the bib top that wraps around your chest providing an extra layer of warmth in the right places :) I just struggled with the fit. I ordered a medium according to the fit chart- I'm 5'8" and 140 lbs, with relatively long legs and muscular thighs/hips. I was surprised that they fit actually slightly loose in hips and upper thigh, such that the fabric folded in front right at my hip seam while riding or sitting, and and chamois moved around after a while of riding. The little gaps between the skin and the extra fabric this created also caused some annoying cold pockets of air (and made be worry about chafing..). I'm hoping that a smaller size will work, but I'm a bit worried about having enough room to pull them over my hips using the potty zipper. We'll see! In general, a GREAT winter bib if you get the fit right!
