C5 Gore Windstopper 3/4 Bib Tights+

The C5 Gore Windstopper 3/4 Bib Tights+ from Gore Wear are ideal when full-on tights are a little too much warmth and straight up bib shorts aren't enough. Factor in the GORE WINDSTOPPER protection blocking out the cold breezes and repelling water and you have some knickers that are ready for the unexpected during your shoulder season rides.

The snug, stretchy fabric in a classic silhouette keeps your body heat close to your skin while the Advanced Road chamois filters out road chatter and provides support on those long base mileage days. At the front of the insert, is Gore Windstopper Cup technology that keeps the front of the crotch shielded from wintery winds without sacrificing breathability. Speaking of breathability, the bib's uppers are constructed from mesh for extra ventilation so you don't overheat. The optimized seam placement ensures that your ride isn't interrupted by friction or irritation while the reflective logo helps you be a little more visible on the road. And not only will your knees thank you for the extra material that keeps them warm, they'll also appreciate the non-restricting, elastic-free lower hem that keeps the openings in place.

  • Supportive 3/4 bib tights with wind-blocking comfort
  • Gore WindStopper Cup shields the wind from chilling you out
  • Advanced Road chamois is comfortable and supportive
  • Gore Windstopper blocks the wind and repels water
  • Full mesh bib construction for breathability on warmer days
  • Optimized seam placement eliminates irritation and friction
  • Non-elastic hems keep openings in place without constriction

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Arm Length:
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.

Good Colder weather Knicker

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium

Bought these specificaally for the Windstopper feature, which for me makes them perfect for very low 50s and 40s in the mountains. Had a couple of rides so far and fit seems good except for very tight lycra at the bottom of the legs. I have fairly thin legs and calves so they work OK for me but if you have large calves there is NO WAY these would work for you. Chamois seems adequate so far, and suspeners are very soft an comfortable
