Gore WearC5 GORE-TEX Glove - Men's

C5 Gore-Tex Glove
The best time to find Hero-Dirt on the trail is just after a light shower outside — but this often means you've got to commit to climbing through the storm to earn that tacky descent. While we would be hypocritical if we criticized you for charging into the rain in a lightweight polyester jersey and gloves, we're pretty confident that a pair of the Gore Wear C5 Gore-Tex Gloves would keep you in a much happier place. With a stretchy and comfortable shell that cuts the wind, and a wicking polyester lining with GoreTex membrane, your digits will stay delightfully dry when the rain starts falling, so you can focus on more important things ahead, like the winding switchbacks to the top.
- Gloves for standing up to dismal weather and grey skies
- GoreTex membrane cuts through wind and water with ease
- Polaymide and elastane shell stretches with you
- Bunching material is reduced thanks to preshaped fingers
- Reflective accents help you stay seen in low light
- Hook-and-loop closure makes for easy on and off
- Text your buddy on the trail with touchscreen compatibility

was really disapointed by these gloves. Rode my bike in 35 weather and fingers were freezing. Smart phone touch fingertips were abysmal. Never worked. Fingers were cumbersome, clunky, and not flexible (despite being advertised as good for biking). I tried on a pair in large, didnt fit, and ordered a medium thinking they would be better, but were not. Water resistant only plus. Poorly designed glove. You will need to buy a liner to make them decent for freezing temps, but that will only add to the clunky and cumbersome design.

Possibly because my hands are naturally sweaty, these gloves tend to make my hands quite damp and warm in temperatures >40 degrees. Conversely, when it's cold outside (<30), my hands become totally numb. I don't think I'd purchase these again.

I'm a big fan of Gore and their gear. This glove is no exception. It's great in the wet, and in a broad range from 50 down to 30's, its toasty without making your hands sweat. The fit is perfect, I have somewhat skinny fingers and a big palm so XL is great. I had a pair before but left them in a taxi in New York...was soooo bummed I bought a replacement pair. Back to being happy.

Perfect glove for cooler rides
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit:
- True to size
Used the glove on a few late winter rides and it performs as expected. Used in temps ranging from upper 30's to low 40's. Appreciate the longer cuffs, though if you wear a Fitbit, Whoop, or other strap the longer cuffs fit snugly (appreciated!) and can make it difficult to secure the velcro strap over your wrist strap. One annoyance is that the finger fabric is rather slick, though not more than an occasional issue when shifting to an easier gear with Dura-Ace, my fingers would constantly slip off my Campy Ergopower shifters when going to an easier gear. At little more of a textured surface on the fingers would be appreciated.

These gloves work in such a wide range of temps without making your hands sweaty 45-25. Ive used them for my commute across the chilly golden gate during winter and in NYC where I unfortunately left my last pair in a cab! Recently bought a second pair and happy to be reunited w an old friend!

Great Wet Weather Glove

While the sizing is wacko, I needed an XXL for my 9.0 inch hands, these gloves are comfortable to ride in down to 40 deg F and they keep my hands dry in the rain.
