No need to turn around before noon anymore.

Riding in the heat of summer requires a jersey that works with you while you ride. As your temperature rises during an afternoon criterium or an all-day road race, ventilation is key to staying comfortable and pushing through to clinch the victory. The Gore Bike Wear Women's Xenon 2.0 short-sleeve- jersey puts ventilation where it is needed, using a high-functioning material mix for spring and summer riding.

The Xenon 2.0 sits at the top of the Gore Bike Wear women's road line. This jersey is made with Schoeller's signature Coldblack fabric that reflects sunlight to effectively manage heat buildup while also protecting you from harmful UV rays The Xenon line uses ultrasonic seam technology to eliminate the use of thread for binding the fabric, effectively welding the jersey together. The tight, flat seams mean no friction against your skin where traditional seams would rub.

An ergonomically shaped collar stays comfortable against your neck when the jersey is fully zipped. Strategically placed polyester-elastane mesh on the top of the arm, underarm, and back help you stay cool by allowing air to move through it, evaporating perspiration. The full-length zipper also makes cooling off easier on hot days. An underflap runs the length of the zipper to keep it from catching in your undergarments and irritating your skin as you ride. Zip ports on the top and bottom protect your neck and favorite shorts from being abraded by the zipper.

Three back pockets provide ample storage for nutrition and spare tubes. They're slightly tapered on the sides for easy access, so reaching around your back for a bar no longer feels like a game of chicken against yourself. A single zip pocket on the back keeps keys, credit card, and ID safe and secure.

Decorative reflective print on the sides of the jersey adds safety and flair. A reflective logo and piping on back also keep you visible during predawn and dusk rides, and gives you 360 degrees of reflectivity.

The Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0 short-sleeve- jersey comes in Black/white, White/Black, Pool Blue/White, Fuchsia/white, and Citrus Green/White. It is available in X-Small to XX-Large.

Love Gore products

  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: large

I normally wear M, this was a "leaner" fit, the L fits much better. I like the material and the way the jersey "gives" and really like the reflective strips

runs small

  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: small

A previous reviewer said it runs large, but I own several Gore shirts and shorts. This runs small in my opinion. I don't want a bike jersey baggy, but I don't want it as tight as this is. Something new: I am buying a large: hope it fits as I like the color and design--which is similar to a very comfortable Gore jersey I own.

Great Hot Weather Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

I love this jersey. It looks great and it's super light weight with mesh in all the right places. If you ride a lot in the heat this is must have.

Great bike jersey for hot days

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

This jersey fits nicely, doesn't ride up in back, and has vents to let in air on the back and armpit area. It is great for hot days and a cool breeze blows through the venting. I would definitely buy again.

Best Fit Jersey

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Finally, a jersey that is made for women with breasts. I usually have to go up a size or two to fit the chest area, and then the rest of the jersey is too big. I purchased the black/white version and it looks just like the photo. The venting in the back is fantastic. Perfect for our 100 mile ride in 90 degree weather. The material in the front of this jersey is much thicker than that back, making for a smooth front. If you have boobs, this is the jersey for you. :)

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large

looser fit than expected. I own a few other Gore apparel in a medium which aren't as loose fitting (am 5'4" 117 lbs). the material is too thin for my taste, and the yellow is not as bright and neon as I had expected from the picture. it is more of a mustard yellow.

Gore Bike Wear Xenon 2.0

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This is my all-time favorite bike jersey. It's made to fit a female figure, is slimming and the material is ultra thin but durable and breathable. The pocket storage includes a zipped pouch for valuables too. I bought TWO. One for me and one for my cycling sister. She loves it too. Arlene

So comfortable!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Fit - snug, not tight. Doesn't over-compress your body, but still fits smoothly. Fits a bit larger than expected, but still good.
Stretches well, good length both front and back. It has some sticky stuff on the hem that keeps it in place. Love the zipper on one of the back pockets to keep stuff from bouncing out.
When I first put it on, I thought the fabric felt a bit weird and wouldn't breathe well. Not true. It breathes well and keeps me comfortable. I've worn it many times, washed it many times. Still looks good - no snags or fading. It's one of my two favorite hot, humid weather jerseys.
I recommend this jersey.

the best!

The best short-sleeved bike jersey I have owned, including others from Gore, Assos, Louis Garneau etc. So comfortable you hardly know you are wearing it. Lightweight, breathes well. Functional rear pockets. Well made. Highly functional, but good looking too.

Have you tried Gore's ALP-2.0 Jersey yet? Of course it's more mountain inspired if fit, but it, too, is very comfortable and has excellent breezy. The only fault I found is the back, which is totally mesh, already snagged from my hydration pack; but if you don't carry a pack, this top is worth a try especially if you catch it on sale.

I'm going to give this jersey and shorts a try, too, this summer.

    Happy Trails!

Recently acquired the Sleeveless version of this it; will try to get this one, too. You are right about the Xenon...the shorts rock, too!
