Description

Your ride just got better.

It's difficult to imagine any ride that isn't bettered by a top-tier chamois. Lucky for you, Gore Bike Wear thinks the same way, and accordingly, it developed its new Men's Inner 2.0 Tight Pro Plus Shorts.

This pair of liner shorts features a microfiber construction that's a result of Gore's proprietary blend of nylon and elastane. Essentially, the elastane is incorporated for its flexibility and stretch, allowing you a complete freedom of movement. Meanwhile, the nylon was selected for its ability to wick moisture away from the skin, and for its incredibly fast dry-time.

As for the chamois itself, Gore includes its Contest Pro Men insert. Gore refers to this chamois as its workhorse insert because it was specifically developed for medium- to long- distance rides. It features a seamless, finished surface and a high level of elasticity so it moves with your body to eliminate chafing.

Comfy and Protective

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got this for my brother-in-law in Pitt. He commutes every day to work on bike and goes through bike shorts like none other. He needed another pair to add to his arsenal. So far so good!

More than just liner shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XXL

I bought these to wear under mtb shorts and for that they are excellent. However, this summer has been so hot I have worn these several times out on the road bike. When the needle is nudging 100F with high humidity these shorts are the most comfy thing I've ever worn. They flow lots of air and the chamois offers more comfort than my other shorts for those long days in the saddle. If Gore removed the loops and marketed these as hot weather "airflow" shorts, they would sell by the truck load.
