Great jacket, fits small, no drop bib

Super waterproof and light, great jacket for sure, could use more pockets and a bigger rear pocket. And the sizing is short for a bike jacket. Hoping the xxl will work for me. I got xl, I’m 6” 4’ 185 and it was barely to my hips, wasn’t long enough for protecting from tire spray.

    Great jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Really impressed with the jacket . Ordered the large and it fits really well too with enough room for a few snug layers or even a thin down or synthetic hoodie . I am 5’10” and 172 pounds FYI . Will be a nice addition for my ultralight touring, bikepacking rig .

    Super minimal, compact

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This jacket packs down tiny! It's truly minimal, with zero pockets and vents. The packing size also means it's quite thin, so I don't expect it to survive more than two seasons of commuting in Seattle. One downside to this jacket is that the tail bib is a little short - it goes over the belt line by an inch or two depending on riding position. If you want a generous tail bib look elsewhere.

As others have noted, order 1 size up from your normal fit and you'll get a good snug fit. I'm 6'-0, 180lb and I got the Large.

What is the weight of this jacket? Just trying to compare it to the "Shakedry" models. Thanks

Hey Tim! These do weigh more than the Shakedry's, this one comes in around 192g!

    Great Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I used this for everything from commuting to work, or running to the store in a shower. Packs down super tiny, keeps me dry, and breaths good enough. Fits true to size.

    Commuter Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am 5' 10" 165 pounds and the medium fits me perfect, It is a jacket that I can wear on my bike commute or off the bike and it still looks fine. I was concerned that the hood would be an issue while on the bike but is not an issue at all. I have still yet to test the jacket in a full rainstorm commute so i cannot comment on how waterproof the jacket is. What I do not like about the jacket is the size of the one pocket. I would like to have a bigger pocket to fit phone and wallet, Also would have liked a two way zipper to help with venting. Breathability of the jacket is good not great.

Keeps You Dry In A Pinch

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm 5'11" and 175lbs and often split between medium and large in terms of sizing. I decided to buy both to try them out and see which fit best - large was hands down the way to go in this case. It fit well - not snug, not loose. A perfect, athletic fit.

What I like about the jacket:

    - The hood fits over a bike helmet. Rainy day? No problem. Throw up the hood and you're set.

    - Goretex Paclite is waterproof and packs down tiny enough to fit into a pack or even, gasp, a fanny pack. Fantastic emergency shell for the trail! I haven't fully put it through the ringer to talk durability. Will report back on it.

    - I like that you can cinch down the bottom of the jacket and the hood.

    What I Don't Like:

    - I guess lack of pockets, not a huge fan of rear pockets like it has. With that said, I don't really mind as its more of an emergency style shell or can wear a pack.

    - I do slightly worry the lack of venting may lead to overheating, but will cross that bridge when I come to it.

If you need a good trail jacket for wet weather that also packs down pretty small, look no further! If you have any questions on sizing or if you're looking to place an order, feel free to reach me at my direct line 801.204.4547 or email and would be happy to help!

Keeps You Dry In A Pinch

Connor, I agree with your assessment. I would love front pockets but, I’m sure the trade off is price. Riding thru a thunderstorm today, I was the only one dry in my Packlite. I’m 5-10 155lds and the medium is perfect. It’s breath ability is questionable but again, for the price, it’s a fantastic garment. I use it hiking & biking.
