Very Hard to mount

Your going to need tire levers to get these babies on your rims. The 1st one held air like a champ even before adding sealant. The second one was more like a sieve, but seal well after adding sealant and getting it distributed around the tire. I have over 500 miles on these on primarily chip-sealed roads. Running with 80psi. They ride very smooth, spin up fast, and grip the corners. I've only had 1 small puncture and that sealed quickly. The 25mm tires are mounted on Hunt 50's. Using Orange Sealant. Time will tell how long they last.

After shredding a set of Bontrager tires in a few months, I decided to go for something a bit more high end. Tires were slightly difficult to mount and require some nice levers and good grip strength. but once mounted with an oz of Orange Endurance sealant, they inflated with a floor pump. Was a little messy, but no complaints. After about 150 miles of riding, they do not show any signs of wear or damage. I keep them at 80psi (max is 85) and the lowest they have dropped down to is around 70psi after a week of sitting. So, they seem to hold air well. They feel very smooth and being slightly more plush, they absorb a good amount of bumps in the road. I purchased the 28c tan wall version and my bike looks very clean with these tires. My initial impression is five stars. I will update if I have any issues. Update 1/15/21 Unfortunately, the reviews are accurate. A small piece of gravel managed to put a tiny hole in the rear tire. I understand that I should not be running over rocks, but it does happen sometimes. Never had a tire slice open from a piece of gravel though. Obviously, no road will be perfect, so it is expected that tires would be able to handle a small piece of gravel. But, even with Orange endurance Sealant, the hole wont hold over 35 psi without bursting. I have run Mavic UST tubeless tires in the past and they were able to last two years with no flats and were very similar in tread pattern; however, i do not have ust rims anymore. Road tires are getting expensive and the quality seems to be falling behind. Bontrager tires have deformed on me in months and these tires were a few weeks old and already unusable.

I only have 92 miles on them after only 2 rides. They sealed with my floor pump, I did the front tire first. They are very hard to mount, I had to use my Kool Tool. Then the rear tire which gave me trouble. After it was sealed and I let the air out to add sealant, a portion of the bead would pop lose. I went thru this exercise several times and finally added sealant and pumped the tire up. The tires wanted stay like centered in my Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 wheels with the Bontrager plastic rim strip before being pumped up to be seated. I am hoping they are better flat resistant than the Pirelli Zero TLR tires that I just replaced with these tires. I had 4 flats in 9 weeks. Sidewall punctures and center of tread puncture and a staple once removed self sealed.

I forgot to mention that these tires have a nice comfortable soft ride @ 75 psi.

Easy to install on Zipp 303 first gen NSW wheels, didn’t need any tools to get in. Setting up is easy, regular floor pump did the job. Had it seated in no time. However, inflated to 75 psi ( Max labeled ). Measured 29.6mm

These are my second set of tubeless tires. The first were Schwalbe Pro Ones that came with my Canyon. I liked the performance that I got out of them, but the rear got a slice that wouldn't seal with a plug. I wished they would have lasted longer at only 1000 miles they still have their nipples on. Undecided on buying two new ones or switching brands. Choices seem limited these days in the 700c x 30mm range. Mounted these on Reynolds AR41 wheels.

Thanks for the review, I am looking for new tires I have a set of Reynolds AR41X wheels all so, how are the Goodyear tires working for you? Have you tried any other tires that work well? I would welcome any more info on any tires you have used on your AR41 wheels. Thanks Zachary B.

Fast but terrible puncture resistance

The title pretty much says it all. These tires may be good for a TT and thats about it. They aren't even the TT version though. I tried these after wearing through some continental 5000 TLs. They actually feel faster and I prefer the handling but on my 2nd ride I had picked up a puncture in the front. It was small enough that I didn't notice it while riding but saw a little sealant bubbling out after. Since then I've noticed the same thing two or three times on the rear tire until I finally got a puncture on the rear tire that was too big for the sealant. After two weeks with them, this is unacceptable. The also seem to run skinny. If you do decide to try them out, I'd recommend getting a size bigger than normal. The 25s looked more like 23s. They were probably the easiest tubeless tire I've ever mounted though. The bead slipped right over the wheel and I was able to mount them with just a regular pump. I didn't have to break out the compressor or use CO2. They do leak a little more air overnight than any other tubeless I've tried but nothing too substantial. I'll be ditching these for something else
