Why We Like The Eagle F1 SuperSport Tire

Built for competition the Eagle F1 SuperSport Tire is what we're outfitting on our race-ready road bikes. This fast and supple tire comes in a lightweight package with a reinforced sidewall so we don't have to constantly worry about nasty cuts and punctures during our races. The tire is trusted by the pros, too, so we can be sure to trust it to get us to the finish line as fast as possible.

  • Supple GSR rubber compound rolls smooth while cutting down on grams
  • R:Shield Breaker keeps sidewall safe from cuts and punctures
  • Race-ready tire starts at only 130g weight

Goodyear F1 Clinchers 28mm

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
True to size
Size Bought

I have about 150 miles on these, just enough for an initial review Only ridden in dry conditions so far Soft, speedy, and smooth so far. On 20mm internal width wheels, they measure out to 28.2mm, so it might be a little narrow on older/narrower wheels. Will update with more information Update 1: Have about 500 miles on these, super supple, super fast, and a bargain. Can't complain so far! One puncture, picked up a staple, but it's all part of the game! Update 2:About 1000 miles: Picked up an alternative set of tires so I can keep a good rotation and a set of training tires. I didn't realize how light these were, they weigh 200g a piece in the 28's, pretty impressive. Overall, I would put these between Vittoria Corsa G2.0's and Continental GP5000's. GP5k's have more puncture protection and less grip than the Goodyears, and the Vittoria's have more grip, but less puncture protection.
