Description

Tan lines look better on your legs.

If you don't want a visor, but you really don't want a sunburn, the Giro SPF Ultralight Skullcap perfectly fits the bill. With a UPF30 rating, it blocks harmful UV rays. That's in addition to being light and airy — perfect for keeping your head cool under your helmet. It's a one-size affair, with an elastic rear panel to accommodate a range of head shapes and sizes. And since it's built from a blend of Power Mesh and antimicrobial X-Static fabric, it'll stay fresh between washes.

The Giro SPF Ultralight Skullcap is available in one size and in the color White.

I wear a hat like this on every ride to protect my scalp from the sun. I tried this Giro Skullcap and found that it is too small for my head and not at all comfortable. I won't use it again. I have other similar caps from different manufacturers and they fit just fine. If you have a larger cranium I would refrain from this cap.

After my dermatology doctor suggest I wear a helmet liner... this was it . I have a Giro helmet and now the Giro Ultralight Cap. Feels good, and after a while you don't even realize it's under your helmet. Very nice.
