Item # GIR008G

The simple quality of Giro's Siv Gloves stands in sharp contrast to the general trend of the cycling industry. There's no over-complication or useless pageantry here. Giro simply incorporated modern materials into a classic design that could only be improved by, well, by the incorporation of modern materials.

Instead of the abrasive, hemp-like backs, the Siv use a soft, well-ventilated nylon. The fragile leather palms of yesteryear have also been replaced with durable, padded microfiber that won't grind through over the course of your retro-only sportive ride. The palms also use Giro's three-piece construction for a snug fit that accommodates your hands on the bars and hoods. The gloves are finished with a microfiber wiping surface and a hook-and-loop strap.

  • Ventilated nylon mesh back
  • Durable, padded microfiber palm
  • Microfiber wiping surface
  • Hook-and-loop fit strap

Love these simple, retro gloves. Just the right about of padding to keep your hands comfy and still feel the road. A combination of mesh and sweat pad top works well.

Quality for price

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Gloves fit true to size. Great glove for the money. I haven't had a chance to use these on my bike as it's winter here. The padding seems a little less dense and softer than the higher level Giro gel gloves but they should be fine for the 1-2 hour rides.

Great gloves

True to size

These gloves fit and feel great after a long or short ride. True to size for a L/XL hand. They're comfortable overall, and the white part doesn't get very dirty, or the dirt doesn't stay embedded in the fabric, even when sweating heaving and using it to wipe your forehead and brow.

Great for the money

Runs large

I didn't expect a top quality glove for the price I paid, but they've been holding up just fine and the padding seems to be fairly resilient. I normally wear a large glove and had to go with medium. The back ended up fitting tight and the palms were still a bit loose. I've always been someone who likes a pad in my gloves. Taking the pad out was the best thing I ever did. Use a padded bar tape and change your hand position, don't let a pad mute the circulatory feeling that you need.

Spend the extra money and skip these

Been using these as my everyday community gloves. Love the retro look, fit true to size but the craftsmanship is not there. All the seams are splitting after less than 2 months. lining inside is coming undone. They are garbage. I went cheap trying to save money but ended up throwing away money. Put your hard earned money toward a quality pair that will last you at least a season

Thanks for the review. I hate it when gloves fall apart after a few use.
