cool Autumn days are here, are your feet ready? well with these socks you don't have to worry about cold toes and feet. they'll keep you warm on the road, or crushing down some gravel. but they wont leave your feet roasting when you really kick into high gear.

I moved to Colorado from Colombia. couple of months ago which means I had never ridden in cold weather before. The first cold rides I did (around 33 degrees) even though I had shoe covers my toes were freezing and hurting. I bought three pairs of these socks and they keep my feet a lot warmer.

I love Merino, it is soft, warm, and does not stink or retain odors, which is a huge plus when you go on a road trip and perhaps forget to pack extra socks because you were in a huge hurry to get out the door... Not that this has happened to me, cause that would be gross... right? Just saying. Seriously though, these are manufactured well, I love the color options, I bought the Blue Camo and the Yellow / Blue striped ones and have been super stoked on them. Plenty warm, with a toe cover on my shoes I have no trouble running these into the 40 degree range, and without a toe cover I am happy into the 50's. I feel like they start getting unpleasantly warm when you are in the upper 60's though, but I typically run hot when I am out riding.

Theses are thick at the heel and toe where they need to be, and thin around the instep and up the ankle. Like all of Giro's softgoods, they have a high-quality look and feel. Color coordination with Giro shoes is a bonus!

- Large - fit great for a Euro 45.5 foot
I had an older pair of Giro merino socks that instantly developed holes, so I was hesitant to purchase these. That said the quality is much improved from a couple of years ago, socks feel better and are super warm.

Great!
Sweet socks, just the right length me! I had a hard time finding the size so I took a chance and went for the standard medium and it was perfect. In case anyone is wondering, here's the size on the package for a medium. US Mens: 7 - 9 US Women: 8 - 10 EU: 40 - 42 UK: 6 - 8

Awesome Winter Socks
My Giro socks in a size medium black came in today. I am a size nine and they fit me perfect. Went for our Group ride Thursday night here in kansas at 630 PM and the temp was already at 40 degrees at start. By the time we were finished the temperature had dropped to 34 degrees. I didnt notice till I got home when I started to take my shoes off that I completely forgot about the New GIRO Socks were on my feet.lol The reason for this is because my feet never got cold. As the saying goes, when something is comfortable you dont notice it. I need to mention I was wearing my early spring booties but I have worn other socks before and my feet still got cold by the end of the ride. Get these while they are on sale you wont regret it. Quality Merino Wool cant go wrong Gents.
