Item # GIR002P

For the street.

Treat your hands to technical features, expert tailoring, and Giro quality with the Hoxton LF Gloves. Intended for urban riding, the Hoxton LF uses a stylish blend of Merino wool instead of the omnipresent cycling-standard of black polyester.

The merino blend offers warmth on cool nights and early mornings, yet it is highly breathable to keep your hands cool once the sun moves higher in the sky. The wool panels are part of Giro's Super Fit design. This approach to ergonomics is the result of Giro's diverse team of cyclists and engineers working together to make gloves as comfortable as possible.

This includes the three-piece palm constructed from AX Suede synthetic leather, which ensures the Hoxton LF expertly follows your palms' natural contours. It also prevents bunching at the grips, where blood flow and road feedback are essential. The index fingertips get a silicone gripper for added brake lever control.

The Giro Hoxton LF Gloves come in five sizes, from Small to XX-Large, and in the colors Black Heather and Mono Gray.

Perfect Fall Glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I have a few rides in these gloves and have been absolutely loving them for fall riding. I finished last nights ride in the dark with a head light, it was 45 degrees out and I was just barely starting to feel chilled. I have happily ridden these gloves into the low 50's without thinking twice. They offer plenty of warmth for fall / early spring rides. They are super soft, and the wool has prevented them from developing any odors. Sizing feels spot on as well. If I were to try to find something to complain about, it would be that the stitiching in the fingers is a little more pronounced than on most of the gloves I own. I do not find this irritating and quickly forget about it, however somebody that is more sensitive to this sort of thing may not be as happy with the gloves. I would totally buy these gloves all over again, typically I try to avoid Velcro closures, but for these I am happy that I made the exception.

Solid Gloves

Warm and comfortable. Use them for mild activities, looks like it will hold up well in the winter.

    Best gloves ever.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

True to title! Best Gloves EVER! Great for biking, and other outdoor activity. I also use mine for shooting sports, can pick up small items without any issues, not at all restricting. Great looking as well.

    Are these touch-screen-able?

Giro does not make any mention of touch screen connectivity on the Hoxton glove, so I wouldn't bet they will work well with a touch screen.

I actually believe they are touch-screen compatible. If you look at the closeups of the thumb and forefinger, you can see three strips of threading - likely metallic (conductive).

Yes, they are touchscreen compatible on the thumb and forefinger of each glove, as chr3410437 mentions. I have a pair and while the responsiveness is not amazing it does the job for starting and stopping music, etc. If I need to manipulate my phone a lot I usually take one of them off first.
