Description

Simple and effective.

When you pull on the DND Gloves, you're treating your hands to technical features, expert craftsmanship, and Giro quality. So, how did this enticing level of perfection come into existence? Simple. The DND Super Fit design has evolved with Giro's diverse team of cyclists and engineers on trails all over the world for multiple years.

This latest iteration uses a palm constructed from three pieces of durable Clarino synthetic leather. This ensures that the glove won't end up like unsolicited credit offers when you plant the DND on rocks. But, most importantly, the three Super Fit panels expertly follow your palms' natural contours to eliminate any bunching at the grips, where blood flow and trail feedback are most essential.

The precise theme continues to the back of the hand as well. Here, you'll find a moisture-wicking, four-way stretch mesh. This material is not only breathable, but it's also snug enough to quickly pull away and evaporate moisture without inhibiting circulation. Along the fingers, flex zones at the knuckles ensure shifting and braking happens as fast as neurons fire. Meanwhile, reinforced tips with silicone grippers are hard-wearing for durability, while also ensuring positive engagement with the levers.

The Giro DND Gloves are available in five sizes, from Small to XX-Large, and in the colors Black/charcoal, Black/rad star, Blue Tech, and Bright Green/black, Green Camo/gum, and Lead/gum.

  • Super Fit palm with Clarino synthetic leather
  • Four-way stretch breathable mesh upper
  • 2mm EVA crash padding
  • Reinforced fingertips with silicone printing on braking fingers
  • Flex zones at knuckles

Perfect cyclocross glove. Good grip and no silly jell pads to make your hands go numb.

Best mountain biking gloves hands down. They're made of high quality material that doesn't feel synthetic or cheap but at the same time the gloves are surprisingly breathable. Plenty of grip as well on the palms and pointer finger, not to mention the colors are all amazing.

Man, these gloves are rad. Just the right about of protection, no pads or excess fluff. Just a solid glove that will be the first line of defense when you superman into the dirt. Super simple!

Can't beat them for the price!!

These gloves are surprisingly nice for the price. They slip on and are comfortable and secure. They pretty durable too. The type of quality i'd expect from gloves twice this price.

Really happy with this Giro dnd gloves. First time I wore these gloves mountain biking was on an extremely hot day. They gloves were super breathable in the heat and really helped with my grip.

Love these. You can see my complete review below, but wanted to share this photo from the CX portion of the Ski to Sea event up in Bellingham - still rocking the mediums as I prefer to break the gloves in slightly and have them fit tighter.

grabbing and bragging ability increased

Excellent grip, Sooooo much grip. Love having the fingertip touch pads too for my electronics. Unfortunately, the pads do not work half the time. I am forced to use my tongue to take a pic or answer a call when I don’t want to pull off a glove.

    Best fitting gloves

Like a second skin. That's all I need, and they look cool too. Might not be super durable but aren't super expensive either.

      Great Gloves

NO complaints at all. There is a soft towel like fabric on the outside of the thumb that works great for wiping sweat when you are riding during the hot summer days. No velcro on the wrist but it fits great and much more comfortable because of that. Reasonably priced and they are holding up pretty good. I would say you can't go wrong.

Just used these down in Moab and St George. Comfortable and not too hot. Good grip on the bars. I like that there is no Velcro. Haven't taken a spill with them on yet, so the durability is TBD, but they seem tough enough.

"Simple, minimal, grips where you need it, breathes when you need it to. Splits in the index and middle finger make for a more ergonomic fit"

      Excellent commuter/all-arounder

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Medium

Minimalist design, great comfort, durable materials not to mention one of the most comfortable cycling gloves I've ever worn. Been using this as a commuter glove in cooler temps and really happy with the minimal padding and fit/feel of this glove. Perfectly comfortable (for me) into the 40s/50s but haven't tested them in hot weather or much below that. Pad at the bottom is low profile and perfectly positioned for most hand positions on drop bars. I have pretty fat bar tape on my single speed commuter bike, so not sure how well they would feel on long roadie type rides, but soaks up city bumps and looks great. Fabrics used throughout seem durable and breathable and the pattern for the palm fits extremely well without bunching or pinching.

These are seriously some of my favorite gloves I've ever owned. They fit nicely, are true to size, comfortable on the trails, breezy, and pretty durable. I thought they'd rip at the seams after one ride. But after 15+ rides, they've held up better than I thought. Highly recommended if you want a simple, comfortable glove without bells and whistles.

Received these gloves the other day and went for a nice long ride. Great gloves, simple, and comfortable. I really like that they have no velcro wrist closure that comes undone and always flaps around! Great buy, thanks Backcountry!!!

This glove is awesome! not only does it come in really cool colors but it had grip in all the right places. I am just getting into mountain biking, this glove is the way to go. It does run just a bit small, I would size up. Give me a call and I can get you into the right size on this.

      Straightforward Glove

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small

I really like these gloves because of how simple they are. There aren't made to be the most durable glove however, I expect them to last at least one season.

They are comfortable and easy to get on and off. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the sizing. I think they run a little small. I originally had a size medium and it felt great in the fingers, but the palm of the glove was a little short for me. Swapped them out for a large and they fit much better!

      DND Glove

This was a gift for my BF who just got back into bike riding.. Nothing fancy about these gloves, less is more. Easy to take on and off, fun designs and colors and fit true to size

        Great fit and simple

Nice simple design. No palm padding, no velcro. Just pull them on and shred.

        $ Money $

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

I feel like these DND gloves are pretty close to perfect for me. They fit extremely well, offer just enough material on the back of the hand / knuckles to take the sting off of tree branches and other trail side obstacles, they don't have any bulky padding (no padding at all actually) and that is exactly what I am after.
