Why We Like The Across disciplines.

'Cross, cross-country, cross-continent—there are countless cycling situations where full finger coverage and light padding are appropriate additions to your kit drawer. Giro's Bravo Gel LF Gloves fit the bill, providing coverage without bulk and padding without muddying bar feel. They're built to fend off the all-day punishment of chatter on a gravel bikepacking trip or the more short-lived violence of a few hours spent dodging through grasping branches on singletrack.

Compared to previous generations, these Bravo gloves are more streamlined, cutting material in places like the cuff to push further into the realm of minimalism. The gloves incorporate Giro's Super Fit, which features a multi-panel palm in order to reduce bunching during the countless contortions our hands go through on a day in the saddle, and the thumb, middle, and index fingers are finished with conductive panels in order to keep you in touch with your devices and gadgets.

Stitching started failing after 1 week

I've been using the Pearl Izumi full finger gloves for almost 20 years. Loved them. When it was time to refresh them, for some reason I decided to give these a try. After a week, the stitching to the outside of your hand next to the velcro loop started pulling apart. Mind you. I bought 4 pairs and wear different ones each ride. A year later, 3 of them have this same issue. I never had this issue with the Pearl Izumi's. I only replaced them because they were getting a little bit worn after years of use. I'm going back to them for my next batch.

Touchscreen compatible with a catch

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have no issues with touchscreen compatibility like the others, but I also do not use a screen protector. Tested on iphone with protector and it indeed does not work. Otherwise an excellent glove, with padding in the places I like. I use for both spring and summer road and gravel rides. Correct sizing.

Nice, comfortable, good for in-between temperatures. Fit is just like the other Giro gloves I've had. Good padding, which isn't a sure thing in this type of glove. So they're great, but....I can't use my phone with them on. I was riding in an unfamiliar place, and any time I needed to check the map I had to take a glove off. It's minor, but it is annoying.

The gloves were nice but I returned them for one simple reason: they were completely incapable of activating the touch screens on my mobile devices even though the were advertised and labeled to do this. Otherwise they were nice gloves though I found them slightly undersized. If you don't care about the touch screen issue, I would buy them.
