Item # GIR002O

Simplicity and comfort.

We understand people who want a simple pair of gloves on their hands, and the Giro Bravo Gloves are just that — a simple glove with durable palm construction, breathable uppers, and Giro's signature three-panel design. The Bravo Gloves will keep your hands wrapped in comfort during training rides and on your daily commute.

The palm of the gloves is made from durable Clarino synthetic leather. The soft, flexible material makes use of a three-piece palm construction that fits the natural curve of your hand and prevents bunching when you grip the bars. Clarino also retains the same breathable properties you find in most microfibers and keeps your hands dry. Gel padding is placed throughout the palms in areas prone going numb, so your hands stay comfortable regardless of your hand position.

Giro uses a breathable mesh on the tops of the gloves that wicks away moisture. The mesh tops also stretch with your hand as you vary your position on the bars. The top of the thumbs are finished with a soft, absorbent microfiber so you can wipe perspiration from your face and glasses without scratching them. The hem of the gloves sits low around the wrist and closes via a hook-and-loop strap to keep them in place.

The Giro Bravo Gloves come in sizes Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black/white/blue, Highlight Yellow/black, Lead/white, Mono Black, and Red/white.

  • Breathable mesh top
  • Microfiber at tops of thumbs

Giro Bravo Glove

I bought these as a gift for my dad since I had gotten him a bike and wanted to make sure it would be as comfortable as possible. Definitely easier than getting any gel pads or expensive handlebar tape. When I bought them I thought they seemed to run a bit on the small side, similar to what other reviewers are saying. As for feedback, he has been happy with them and they take some of the sting out of rough roads.

Basic glove. No more no less.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

The Giro Bravo is a very basic glove. Just enough padding to be useful, not too much to get in the way. These used to by my favorite until i tried the Specialized Grail glove. Still good for short rides, not so much for anything over two hours. Now they only serve backup. Had some durability issues with the glove coming apart at the seem in-between the palm and thumb.

    Would buy them again!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

    Pros:
    Fits true to size
    Nice Snug fit.
Sturdy build. Soft fabric around the base of the fingers
Nice padding where you really need it
    Very Breathable

    Cons:
A little difficult to take them off. I would've loved to see a small flap in between the middle and ring fingers so you can pull from.

    Awesome Gloves!

I bought these to use them during my road bike rides. I really like their style and vivid color. I bought them using the measures shown in the web site and they fit perfectly. These are fairly confortable and stylish.

    Great Gloves!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I've been using these for a couple months and I like them a lot. They seem to be holding up better than other fingerless gloves that I've had, and the padding is definitely sufficient for a comfy ride.

    Good gloves

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium

The fit is good, but not great. Padding is good, but not great. These are good gloves for the price point, but certainly don't compare to those that are double the price. If you want the best, buy the more expensive ones.

    Great Basic Glove

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Got these as a gift for my Dad who is a pretty recreational biker. For what he uses them for they are a great option. They breathe great with the mesh backing that the gel distribution is the right ratio for what you would look for in a glove. At this price point I think these gloves are top notch. For sure there are better gloves on the market but for $25 they do a great job!

    Solid

At ~$25 these gloves are hard to beat -- stylish and performant, with an attention to detail. The soft back on the thumb is perfect for wiping sweat (or snot). The padding is just right -- enough to remove the shock, but not bulky in the least.

      Good comfortable gloves

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

I'm very pleased with these gloves. Lightweight, breathe fairly well and the gel padding is in all the right spots. The microfiber panel on the thumb is a definite plus for wiping away sweat (or snot, as the case may be.) Fit seems to be spot on, of course, if you can try before you buy that's always best. Definitely would recommend.

      A comfortable glove

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium

I bought this a few weeks back and have worn it three or four times so far. I've found it to be comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing them. The padding is great and they have a soft area at the thumb useful for wiping away sweat (and snot).

      A solid glove.

      Bought them for the gym

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium

Bought them to reduce the callus from weight lifting. I noticed that the glove has the gel very well distributed on the areas that get more affected by the grip.

I don't really like the black breathable material on the back but I noticed that it has some sort of synthetic absorbent leather around the thumb which I found very convenient in case you start sweating from your forehead.

Overall, they are quite comfortable and light. They will dry off quickly after washing which is nice.

      GIRO Gloves

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been really happy with these gloves, they have a nice grip to them. I don't experience any numbness or soreness, they fit really true to size. I hand wash them after a weeks worth of rides and experienced no shrinkage or unthreading. These are top notch cycling gloves.

      Giro Bravo Gloves

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The gloves fit true to size. They are very durable, with just the right amount of padding and an ample area to wipe your nose/face. The material is well ventilated and you can just throw them in the wash after a ride or two. They will last several years.

      Giro gloves rock!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great glove for summer season riding. Have used these gloves for many years with no complaints - long lasting glove that is washable and has excellent padding. The only reason I needed to replace my old ones is that our puppy got a hold of them. Really a great glove when you consider the price. Recommend that you buy two pair and rotate them so that you’re wearing dry gloves for day after day rides. Also allows you to throw one pair in the wash without worrying about going for a ride without a pair. Highly recommend!

      Amazing

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

I can't say it would be easy to find a better glove especially for the price. They do take about an hour or so on the saddle to break in and stretch out a little but they fit very nicely. The padding is the perfect amount, not to bulky but provide ample absorption. I would say to buy two pairs of these instead of buying gloves that cost twice as much.

      perfect gloves

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: medium

these gloves have the right amount of padding were needed, they are very comfy to wear, very breathable.
great gloves to use while mountain or road biking.

nice fingerless glove with good glow!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have both the long finger and short finger versions. I have the med in long finger and wish I had gotten the large. The large fingerless version works well; the gel pads are nice. I don't like pure "no pad gloves" but prefer some padding which this provides. Nice color for cars to see you.

Great gloves at a fair price

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: medium

No complaints at all. Fit true to size, padding is adequate, good quality overall.
