Bring home some bacon.

Keep your tootsies toasty without the hassle of a full shoe cover when you use the Giordana ToeSter Winter Toecovers. Made from super durable neoprene, these toecovers slip easily over the front of your shoe and are held in place by the cleats. The tough underside of the toe will resist rips or tears. Designed with the eye-catching Sagittarius logo for Giordana, you’ll actually look forward to those slightly cooler days so you can don these wickedly utilitarian fashion statements.

How to Measure:
Use your shoe size to find your sock size.
Measure the circumference of your hand around the widest part of the palm not including the thumb, just below the base of the fingers. Giordana gloves are race style, if you have "fat" hands you may want to size up.

Toasty Feet

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

My feet use to freeze in my S-works shoes in cold weather. These cover the vents and don't interfere with clipping in. I've ridden with summer socks and these toe covers down to 35 F without any complaints.

Giordana Toasters

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

Surprisingly warm down to the mid 30's. Large fit well over size 42.5 Sidi Ergo Mega road shoes with Speedplay cleats.

  • Fit: Runs small

The Giordana toe covers are effective at keeping the front of your foot warm when temps drop into the mid 40's to upper 50's, however they're not a good fit for all shoe styles...specifically Shimano 321's.

I recently switched from Sidi 6.6 to Shimano 321 shoes and soon realized that the Shimano's do not work well in cold weather without some way to cover all the open vents in the front of the shoe. I tried the old trick of taping up the vents but still have frozen toes. These Giordana toe covers are reasonably well made and they have kept my toes warm, but they're not designed correctly to fit Shimano 321 shoes. Specifically; the cleat cut out is too far forward and not large enough to properly fit Shimano 321 shoes with Look Keo cleats and overall the size L toe covers are just too tight of a fit. I can't comment on other shoe's but if you ride Shimano 321's or similar style shoes, these toe covers are not a good choice for you.

FYI; Wear size 43 shoe, Look Keo Blade cleats, size L toe cover too small.

Leave these pups on for fall/winter

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I really like these so far. They're not a perfect fit over my size 10.5 shoe (I bought the L), but it's not a size thing, more of a contour thing. I suspect they're smooth out over time as I leave them on. They're warm, and prevent wind from freezing my toes during colder rides. I will be buying full shoe covers for more extreme riding, but these are great for the interim.

No more cold toes

Used these for the first time today, and they work very well. Easy to put on, and they fit perfectly over my shoes (used a Large over size 10 shoes). The stitching around the cleat cutout looks weak, but I suppose only time will tell.
