Your entry to high-end shorts.

You fully committed—purchased the bike, pedals, helmet, shoes, and necessities for your newfound passion. Now it's time for a pair of shorts worthy of your hard-earned bucks and cycling aspirations. The Giordana Women's SilverLine Shorts are a great addition to your cycling wardrobe, existing as a welcome entry to high-end cycling apparel. Loaded with a comfort-enhancing design, supportive fit, and intricate details usually reserved for pricier offerings, the SilverLine Shorts are nothing short of a bonafide bargain. In fact, their updated Cirro S-W chamois features permanently infused Aloe Verra that cools, protects, and promotes healing in the saddle.

The SilverLine's textured woven fabric wraps the legs with two distinct panels that independently support the quads and glutes. This compressive support stabilizes muscles to reduce fatigue resulting from riding across rough pavement and finishing grueling distances. 4.5cm elastic leg cuffs ensure a soft, secure fit, all without pinching into your skin. Rounding things out, the shorts are finished with reflective rear striping along each leg for brilliant visibility in low-light conditions and after-dark hours.

  • Elastic-free yoga-inspired waistband
  • Elastic leg cuffs
  • Compressive leg panels
  • Reflect accents
  • Women's Cirro S-W chamois

Great for long ride days

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

I ride anywhere from 200-300 miles a week during the summer (a random 100 mile ride is not out of the question). In the winter I average about 12 hours a week on the trainer. These are my go to shorts for long ride days. I really like the chamois. It is just right not too bulky, yet not to thin. Most importantly the seams on the chamois is fairly minimal. There are some shorts out there that do not have any edge, but this one is as close as it gets to no seam at all. The style is nice and flattering due to the waist band. It comes up to about the belly button and has a nice color insert to match the legs. They look really nice on. The leg grippers are unique from most other shorts and I like them. The only negative to date about these shorts is that on my first pair (used about 6 months) the little rubber company logo has come partially unsewn, which any weight weenie would probably try to tear off anyway. My first pair I bought a Medium, which proved to be too big. I bought 2 other pairs and they are smalls and first perfect. I am between SM and Med. in Castelli, SM Garneau,SM Specialized. See what the chamois looks like in my photos

Great for long ride days

It gets better? Wow.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I was pretty impressed with my Castelli chamois. Thin and comfortable and a killer bib. I’ve only used bibs but decided shorts were a reasonable investment for less serious rides. For my sixth straight day of riding, I pulled these on and waited for the pain. It never came. These shorts are like riding on clouds. Initially I thought the sizing was off due to slightly loose leg bands but after a few hours in the saddle, they didn’t budge and were very comfortable. The panels are also perfectly compressive. I am a M in Castelli and S in Garneau and, as another reviewer (helpfully) said, these are slightly larger than Castelli sizing.

I have virtually no waist and I find I can pull them up pretty high. They don’t roll. I am sure they would also suit long waisted riders. I wish the bib reviews were better as I would buy those too. These are my new favorites.

Nice length, great chamois

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XS

I wanted another pair of non-bib shorts for long hot summer rides, and these are perfect so far. Great padding in the chamois, enough for 3+ hours in the saddle, and flattering length. Held up through several washes with no issues.

Great chamois, poor craftsmanship

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I wore these shorts twice on century rides & then washed on gentle & air dried them. However, after the second wash, the stitching connecting the chamois to the shorts came undone in two places. I'm hesitant to buy them again due to the poor construction. It's too bad - the other reviewers are right about the wonderful chamois - it truly is like riding on a cloud.

Love these bike shorts

I rode a 30 mile ride to test them out then rode 100 miles. Very comfortable. Good length and updated colors.

Improved Silverline

These are one of the best pairs of shorts for the money. Updated designs look fantastic and the chamois for this pair of shorts is a big improvement. Same chamois used on their higher level shorts!
